Located at the lower end of beach, it is convenient to the ocean beach, and restaurants. Pool looked inviting, but was geared to the younger crowd. Remodeled bathroom and tile, although it was incomplete in spots, on balcony. Check- in is weird as done on an iPad with remote agent. This hotel also charged an “xtra” fee at check-in. Night agent is very rude- and pulling up to register is not convenient. Parking is across the street and not on property. Rooms are mostly partial ocean view . We managed, but probably not stay here again.

I booked the King Room-Non-Smoking for my bf & I and it was a reasonable price for 2 nights. I was a bit hesitant after reading some bad reviews but we decided to give it a try. Upon arrival, the hotel clerk was a bit cold and unwelcoming but still polite. Unsure of his name. He got us checked in and everything, but still seemed a bit nonchalant. The process was fast and easy though since I already had booked online. The parking deck was VERY tight and you barely could see cars coming from around the corner. They did give parking passes and we had no problem finding spaces. Unsure of breakfast(if they had it) and the pool because we did not attend those. The room was a decent size for the two of us and we enjoyed the balcony view of the beautiful ocean in front of us. The balcony could have been a bit cleaner but it is understandable due to the age of the hotel and weather conditions. It was very nice to sit on the balcony avoiding the large crowds while also listening to the waves of the ocean right at your room! The room was clean and the bathroom. The only inconveniences with the hotel we had truly was just when we asked for towels we never got them and had to go downstairs to get them ourselves. There was one elevator which made me a bit uncomfortable due to so many people getting in at one time. The elevator also looked old and made us a bit uneasy at times. We stayed on the fifth floor and it was incredibly hot(luckily the AC worked great in our room) and the flooring kept making us trip on the way to our room. (Unsure if they were working on it or not) Overall, it was a decent stay if you are looking for a quick little get away at a reasonable price and can deal with those little inconveniences. We enjoyed our stay.

I brought my mom for her 75th birthday. It was our second time staying there (1st time being April 2017 with my two brothers and also my mom). Jumping Shrimp was a major disappointment, as I never did get to try out their shrimp and grits. The coffee bar in our room wasn’t stocked, which my mother quickly reminded me of. Otherwise, we had a great stay

The pool area is great, kiddie pool, indoor pool and outdoor pool with a bar (very priced drinks but good food). Overnight someone above vomited down hitting the railing and spraying our patio. It took 3 calls with promises of sending someone up and 7 hrs before anyone came. I eventually called corporate Hilton and then someone came. Found a used a q tip under the bedroom chair and a few barettes and toys in the pull out sofa. No top sheets or bottom sheets for sofa. The location is great, not far from Neptune Park. I’d be uneasy staying again given the cleaning issues. The front desk staff at check out was nice enough to waive resort fees when I told her that it was so long to have the patio cleaned.

The hotel is beautiful. Open floor plan with up to date designs. The staff was friendly and helpful from the moment I checked in until the moment I checked out. I stayed in a King with a partial ocean view and city view. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. I would definitely return again.

We needed a hotel close to the airport for a one night stay prior to going to OBX. We didn't have a car but used the hotel's shuttle service with no issues. Staff here was very friendly and very accommodating. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the bathroom was clean and nicely updated. My roommate did have a problem with a cold shower but we were up early so maybe she was one of the first to use it?? I had no issues shortly afterwards. Breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast, nothing special but it was fine and we were able to find things we liked. Overall a very good stay.
