Great hotel on good location with fantastic breakfast. Hotel is just up the hill in a lovely small town of Villeneuve just across the river from Avignon. The small town is perfect with restaurants and a small grocery store. We brought our bikes which was a perfect setup. The Hotel is beautiful set up with a very spacious approach, multiple ground floor common rooms, a massive garden and a huge pool area (which was closed due to cold temperatures in April). Breakfast was really good, not sure what the other reviews were complaining about.

Really good service, and the rooms are at a high standart. Terace at all rooms, i have been staying there 2 times, and i will go there every time im visiting Avignon. You get an old historical vibe, but the rooms and the hotel is so nice. The rooms have really good space.

We had a very good stay at the hotel. the setting and garden were great. the room was good. very big with a huge balcony. we only had a bath no proper shower. not really a problem but would have been nice to have a shower. the only reason i did not give 5 stars is the restaurant was not open. we had bar food which was ok but did want something more substantial. the piano player in the evening bar was really good. the hotel is about 10 mins walk to the main town. all in all a good stay. but about 40 mins walk into Avignon. we got the hop on hop off bus, which stopes near the hotel and this took us right in to the heart of Avignon proper. i would happily recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel in a quiet location. Huge bed and excellent linen. The bath towels were a bit thin and the shower screen leaked horribly. I mentioned this upon checkout and I’m sure it will be fixed by now. Very nice breakfast and it was so lovely to be able to enjoy it outside in the gardens.

The worst value ever. €300 a night for a supposedly luxury room with no fridge, no tea or coffee, thin towels, and a loo so narrow you could not get up from the seat without knocking the loo roll of its holder. When I asked why there was no bottled water in our room after the first day, I was told that they didn't provide it. The wires holding the light to the ceiling were visible. There were no cushions on the cheap plastic chairs on the balcony. I could go on, but this was an experience I want to forget.

Excellent staff and service! The property is so so beautiful! My only complaints were that the AC was not very strong for sleeping at night. But otherwise, a wonderful stay and a hotel I recommend!

Be warned - THE WIFI DOES NOT WORK AT THIS HOTEL! So if you're dependent on it for trip planning etc, you'll need to head down the hill and into the village by car to a cafe. We arrived and the twin room I'd booked for myself and my mom was not ready at 5:45pm. The room was very tiny, and for my disabled mom was difficult to get around. There's no elevators so the stairs to all of the rooms were a bit of a struggle too. Literally zero amenities in the rooms. Just two warm bottles of water - not even a cup to pour the water into, nothing! Cheap-looking soap dispenser was the best amenity (only amenity!) in the room. Pretty grounds but seemed a bit run down, I didn't fancy the look of the pool. Staff tried very hard to make the stay pleasant but I certainly wouldn't go back. For what we got, I'd expect to pay about half the price. And no matter where I go, these days any hotel in civilisation should have functioning wifi.
