25Hours Hotel Vienna at MuseumsQuartier

The hotel is very special, of the circus theme. There is a kitchen and lounge area. It's close to many attractions in Vienna. Very satisfied.
Small Luxury Hotel Altstadt Vienna
4.7/557 Reviews
The Hotel Alstadt is walking distance to nearly everything in Vienna. The rooms are nice (everyone is different) and very artsy. The breakfast is fabulous. Tea and cake (and a candy assortment) in the afternoon was lovely. The staff was so friendly. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel.
Max Brown Hotel 7th District, Part of Sircle Collection
4.3/560 Reviews
Based on our great memories from the Max Brown hotel in Düsseldorf, we decided to book the Max Brown hotel in Vienna for our long weekend in April 2023. We booked a room in the category “extra large” for around EUR 1’100 for the four nights. To take the positive things first, for those of you who know the concept of Max Brown, you know what you get and the beds are among the best that I have experienced in a hotel. Arriving at the hotel Thursday evening, we were welcomed at the reception with a “be right back” sign and in my personal opinion, slightly too loud “cool” music from the Seven Nights restaurant. After around 5 minutes the front office lady came, dropped her phone and keys onto the desk and disappeared into the restaurant. After about five more minutes, she came back and greeted us with an uninspiring “welcome”. She quickly checked us in and we left for the room. The extra-large room in Max Brown are spacious with their typical decorations but without the basic amenities (makeup remover wipes, cotton ear sticks, etc) that you’d expect in a room. And during the stay, the bedsheets was not chanced for the 4 nights, basics such as toilet paper was not filled up and the used towels was taken by the cleaning personnel but not replaced. The minibar was also empty in case you like a sip of water on arrival or in the morning (don’t really get why the minibar is running when empty considering the cost of electrity). After arriving to the room, I tried to call to the reception, but no-one answered the phone (this happened also on the second night of our stay). In general, you felt a certain disinterest from the staff (with an exception of the guy at check-out). On the second night, we wanted to try out the restaurant in the hotel. We reserved a table on the Max Brown webpage and got the answer “in progress”. When inquiring about the reservation at the reception I was informed that the restaurant has absolutely nothing to do with the hotel. However, the lady at the restaurant found that she was also not responsible for a reservation inquiry made through the hotel website. FYI: The restaurant is located in the middle of the hotel. Catch-22? So if a great bed is the only thing that interest you…. I, for that sake, think you could expect more for an average price of EUR 275 per night. Hence all in all, the 2 out of 5....
Flemings Hotel Wien-Stadthalle
4.4/590 Reviews
We stayed at Flemings for 3 days as part of a European vacation with friends (8) in October. The hotel was located convenient to the subway and trams and also had a nice breakfast. Beyond that, the hotel was very disappointing. There were no telephones in any rooms, and when we checked in the wifi did not work in our room. I wasn't able to get a cell signal either. When I complained at the front desk that we could not get on wifi, I was told - ”that's impossible”! I repeated that neither my husbands nor my phone would connect. He again said ”that's impossible”! This attitude made me very angry. He followed us to the room and tried for a long time to get us connected. Our friends were waiting for us so he said to check back with him later. When we returned to the room later, a repair person came and checked out the router. He said that our section of the hotel indeed had no signal! He reset the router and then we could get on wifi. The beds were not comfortable and we had 2 very flat pillows. I had to request additional pillows, but did get them. I also requested tea, but didn't receive any. The A/C was not cold enough and we had to open the windows. The most annoying thing about this hotel was the clear glass shower box in the middle of the room. Forget any privacy - these rooms are clearly for exhibitionists. My group of friends had sons staying with fathers, sisters staying together and couples. A clear glass shower in the middle of the room would not be chosen by any of us. It was obviously not clear that all rooms had this ridiculous feature. If the hotel wants to have some rooms with this arrangement, fine - but they should realize this will not be acceptable to many people.
Hotel Admiral
4/532 Reviews
I had chosen the Admiral for its location, and for going to museums, and the Opera, it was excellent. The room and toilet were large and clean. The toilet had both a shower and bath, but no bidet. The bed was reasonably comfortable. However I had specifically asked for a two person’s bed, and we got two one person’s beds, pushed together. They said they didn’t have a 2 person’s bed. This could have been made clear when we booked. The breakfast was ample, with a choice of cereal, some fruit, sliced cheese and meat, scrambled eggs, and sausage, but the bread was tasteless and stale. The cappuccino coffee from a machine was truly awful, taking expresso and hot milk was an alternative. The desk was helpful, fixing a shower-head as requested, and booking us a taxi back to the airport. There is building work going on near the hotel, but from our room we had no problems with noise. The hotel is somewhat tired, but the location and price were fine.
Hotel Gilbert
4.2/547 Reviews
The hotel is in a very convenient location right next to a metro station but you can walk anywhere to the main city attraction from there. There is a very nice entrance hall and you have cold and warm drinks anytime for free at the hotel cafeteria. Receptionists are very kind. Not really barrier free as there are many stairs around... but the elevator works perfectly fine. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
