Stayed for 3 nights with a booking for 2 adults and 1 child.
The positives were the spacious room, decent breakfast, and friendly breakfast staff. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing and below what I would expect from a Hilton hotel.
Despite the booking clearly being for 3 guests, housekeeping repeatedly provided towels for only 2 people, requiring additional requests on multiple occasions. Basic amenities such as slippers, cotton buds, and shower caps were not provided. Bottled water was not replenished during the stay, and I was informed that complimentary water was only available on the first day.
While I support sustainability initiatives, some measures felt more like cost-cutting than genuine guest-focused improvements. For example, the laundry bag provided was a recycled paper bag, which is not practical for dirty or damp clothing. Sustainability should not come at the expense of basic guest convenience while room rates remain at premium levels.
The waterfront setting is pleasant, but the location is far from most attractions and even the nearest train station requires a considerable walk.
Overall, apart from the room size and breakfast staff, the stay did not meet expectations due to repeated housekeeping oversights, lack of basic amenities, and an inconvenient location. I would not choose to stay here again.
