Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour

It was neat and nice. The location is also close to downtown! But the sound of the air conditioner was so loud it was a little noisy when I was sleeping at night. I am generally satisfied.

Oak Bay Beach Hotel

For the fourth time we were in this hotel, this time in a Junior Suite. The location is dreamy, the view to Mount Baker(USA) fantastic. The service, beginning from the reception to the restaurant staff has no real idea of guest handling at this price level. Also the rooms are in some places Renovation needed. Smooth tables, smooth sofas, armures, which fall.....which are all forgiveable, but not for these prices, which are extreme in summer.
The Magnolia Hotel & Spa

This hotel is the most detailed hotel I have stayed in Canada! The location is on the pedestrian street, the decoration is exquisite, the bath is full of L’Occitane, and there are two pairs of slippers! Loved, coffee is also a very good brand. Next time I go to Victoria, I will never look at any other hotels. The five-star praise is definitely worthy of it.
Pendray Inn and Tea House

This place is a real step back in time with plenty of period features and furniture. I stayed in the attic room which had both a bedroom and separate seating area as well as a bathroom with an old fashioned standalone bath which was wonderful. They also had complimentary macarons in the room which was a lovely touch. Check in was not a good experience however as the place was locked up when we arrived with no instructions and it wasn't till I went next door to the adjoining hotel that I was advised that check in was actually there instead. This is something which should have been communicated in advance and the computer system also appeared very slow as it took a good 10 mins to get the keys. Maybe an old fashioned paper booking diary would have been quicker! There was breakfast included in the price and it was a lovely setting in one of the old dining rooms at the Inn. However it was styled like an afternoon tea and there wasn't much of it, more like small canapés than a hearty breakfast. I also managed to leave my coat behind in one of the many cupboards in the room and initially I was able to communicate by email and ascertain that they had the coat and could post it on for me which was great. However after this initial email exchange there was silence for a week with me not knowing if it had been sent and when it was likely to arrive. After lots of email requests and 2 phone calls along with some mis information someone did come back to me to say it had now been posted but it still took a further week for the coat to arrive at address I'd requested. I know it was my fault for leaving it behind but they need to work on their customer service as one email with a tracking number would have saved a lot of time and worry. Overall the Inn itself is an amazing experience if you like your history and it's in a perfect spot in between 2 harbour areas but I hope they can bring the service up to the same level.
Delta Hotels Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort

We were traveling with our three granddaughters for a graduation High Tea adventure. We picked Victoria BC and the Delta Marriott and we’re very pleased. Our Black Ball ferry delivered us to Victoria before check in and the desk clerk had rooms for us. The water taxi from the ferry port/Empress stop took us right to the Delta stop with all our luggage. The Rooms were comfortable, the Club Room worked out well for our large party and the server in the bar on the evening of June 29 has the best customer service. Taxis were ordered, directions happened, what a great visit to Victoria BC
