Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour

It was neat and nice. The location is also close to downtown! But the sound of the air conditioner was so loud it was a little noisy when I was sleeping at night. I am generally satisfied.

Great room. Clean and nice redo on rooms. Nice shower with upscale shampoo, etc. Only issue was we had noisy people on our floor. They don't know how to close doors quietly after 1 A.M. Doors tend to slam. Adil, the front desk staff member was very nice. Showed us the games room and wall TV screen. Would stay again on our next visit to Victoria. Also, cafe in the lobby with items for sale.

Oak Bay Beach Hotel

For the fourth time we were in this hotel, this time in a Junior Suite. The location is dreamy, the view to Mount Baker(USA) fantastic. The service, beginning from the reception to the restaurant staff has no real idea of guest handling at this price level. Also the rooms are in some places Renovation needed. Smooth tables, smooth sofas, armures, which fall.....which are all forgiveable, but not for these prices, which are extreme in summer.
Chateau Victoria Hotel & Suites
4.4/5108 Reviews
I had called 9 hotels prior to this booking searching for a suite option that allowed my mom and adult brother some privacy and no one being stuck on a pull out sofa. Chateau Victoria had a great layout option at half price of any alternatives I could find. In addition to that, the customer service agent I spoke with, Heidi, was a breath of fresh air to converse with. Unlike previous hotels I had called, Heidi asked logical, relevant questions, and listened and responded in a helpful manner to all inquiries that I had. She was knowledgeable, polite, and made booking a breeze. I will definitely book at this property again.
Hotel Grand Pacific
4.4/5113 Reviews
We stayed 3 nights at Grand Pacific Hotel. Our room (5th floor) was amazing as we had a little deck from which we could watch the ferries come & go as well as harbor traffic. Through the trees we could also see cruise ships too! Due to staff shortage there was no daily housekeeping but they would bring up towels and coffee etc as required. We only ate 2 breakfasts at the hotel but both were very good! Especially the Avocado Toast !! The hotel location was perfect as it’s walking distance to many attractions and close to the harbor taxis too. Beautiful at night with the parliament lit up and the various fountains, horse drawn carriages and harbor lights. Definitely will be back.
