The hotel was so nice. Rooms very clean and everything you need. Peter was lovely as well as all the staff. We will be going again. The hotel has everything you need. The breakfast was really good

Vanusa, the front desk receptionist was smiling all the time and very helpful in planning the day and what you needed like you passport to get into Victoria Falls National Park. She talked directly with my daughter-in-law 's pen pal coming across the Zambian border to meet up with us . She made reservations and ordered cabs for us. The hotel was remodeled a year ago. Clean and comfortable and close to the central city. Highly recommend this place to stay. No dinner on location; however steered to Bames on the rim of the Zambezi River. Very excellent food and service.

We stayed at this hotel as hotels in Victoria Falls are very limited, expensive and overpriced that under deliver and overpromise. This hotel was not cheap compared to other locations but the game changer was a secure pick up and drop off service that ensured that you check in and out of the hotel safely. This is considered a 3 star hotel and it is about correct in its marketing. The staff were friendly and quite responsive. They had a swimming pool and basic room facilities that will get you comfortable as well a a tour table that sells tours mainly from the over domineering and monopolistic non locally owned Wild Horizons company. I gave it 4 stars mainly because of limited food options for lunch and dinner which makes it difficult to be self sufficient in the hotel.

Great new hotel. Rooms were large and comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I thought I had left my sunglasses there and they went out of their way to try to find them. Easy to book activities around Victoria Falls and Chobe thro9ugh them. The only issue is they are not near downtown, so you have to take a cab, but it is easy to find a driver and very inexpensive.

Were able book sunset Zambezi river cruise, helicopter over Falls, and taxis . Get a taxi to “Rain forest” but hire a rain coat 🧥

Absolute must stay at Victoria Falls. From the moment we arrived the hospitality and service was outstanding. Kutzi who was our complimentary airport shuttle and available to drop you to Victoria falls (or a 15-20 min walk) perfect location. Vimbai and Peter on reception so friendly. Beds are very comfortable, hotel is clean, good breakfast. All staff in this hotel are a 5* service. Would come back for sure. Do not miss out this is great value. Offer many activities and tours as well.

Overall the stay at this new hotel was great. The staff are all friendly and helpful, making the overall stay great. The staff are attentive and welcoming. Rooms are large and very neat. The complimentary shuttle to the airport was welcome. Hotel is about a 5min drive to Vic Falls. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent service and very comfortable rooms. Very good breakfast. Evening meals really tasty and good value. Free airport shuttle service really nice. All staff so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Special mention to Vimbai -she was such a great ambassador for the hotel. So warm and friendly.

We had just two nights before the end of a three week trip around South Africa and chose to visit Victoria falls. The falls were amazing but what made the final two days before we travelled home was staying at the Savanna68 hotel. It is a boutique hotel with just 24 ground floor rooms with garden access through French windows to a lovely pool. Our arrival at V falls airport began well with one of the staff meeting us at the airport in a beautiful brand new minibus. in fact it was the best vehicle I saw in Victoria falls in three days. If you contact the hotel before you arrive they will collect you and save you a taxi fare of around $30-40. On the day you visit the falls, a transfer is organised with a local colleague of the staff who is based locally. We took Bernard's number and whatsapp'ed him whenever we wanted a lift back into town. He gave us great information unlike the other taxi drivers who were always on the sell. Of course we paid for the non-falls lifts, $5 in and out of the town and $10 to the boarder. Pete gave us a lift back to the airport on the day we left and again the trip was in the cool air conditioned Mercedes minibus we arrived in. The breakfast was amazing and the staff are pleasant and friendly - nothing was too much trouble for them. We were a bit stressed because we'd tried to get US$ in Cape Town for four days in a row. Finally we managed to get $100 dollar bills from Western union in Cape Town which is useless for tips. The hotel office can give you change if you find yourself in this position. All in all I wish I'd had longer at the Savann68 hotel
