The hotel is located on a hill with a wide and magnificent view, which is very suitable for vacation. Some of the furniture in the room is a bit old but very clean. The bathing facilities have been updated and are very new and very easy to use. The details are very thoughtful, but the breakfast is too simple and the service staff is not very attentive.

The motel was exceptionally clean, and in a great spot, but the people who worked there were phenomenal. Very helpful with information on the area and best routes to take.

The hotel has a very stylish and boutique feel. The furniture in the room is old style as well as the drapery. A lot different from the chain hotel vibe but in a very good way. Hotel is close by to coffee and breakfast cafes as well as a few seafood restaurants. The hotel itself also has a very good restaurant and bar which when I visited was full of customers so you know the food must be good. Check-in took longer than usual but did have a nice chat with the desk officer. Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a different feel than the chain hotel.

We are returning guests. We feel comfortable living in Iona Heights every time.

The motel is built with thin wall, we heard ppl talking all night outside our room until 3 in the mid-night……horrible!

If you are planning on doing the Cabot Trail, and not starting in Sydney, this is a great place to stay before you start the drive. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the on-site laundry was great - it saved us a lot of time trying to find one in the next few days. The owner was very helpful, and the breakfast was one of the best on our trip so far, with lots of fresh fruit.

Awesome location right in town walking distance to anything you could want.  Stunning views and grounds.  We stayed in Skye house.  We will be back

The hotel is worth the price in every aspect. The owner seems to be an immigrant from the Middle East. His English accent is heavy and I can't really understand him, but he is very nice and welcoming. The scenery of the hotel is beautiful and worth staying in. The room is very clean

As good as can be expected in a motel. Nice view of the lake from our deck.
