Hotel Vidale

Staff members are very helpful. The single room with shared toilet is extremely small. If you stay there just for 1 night, this 🏨 is better than hostel. Shared toilets are clean.

I didn't see a mention on the page that check in is not possible after 9 pm and I asked them 4 days before my arrival if it would be ok to check in a little after nine. They answered only a few hours before my arrival that it is not possible so I was left without accommodation at nine o'clock in the evening. The service was unfriendly and came very late. I did not get a refund for this either.

The hotel is a bit dusty, but that can be expected for the price. The staff was friendly and spoke good english. The area can seem a bit restless but it is actually really nice. A lot of hostels and hotels nearby, and a wonderful restaurant/bar in the same building as the Vileda hotel! Beds were okay, and clean, and bedsheets were provided along with towels. No bugs around. Area can be noisy, and the walls are made of paper, so if you are a light sleeper I suggest ear plugs. Really hot in the summer, room was provided with a fan. Really convenient 7 min walk from Mestre Station, from where easy access to all bus services to airport, and trains to Venice Old Town every 4-10 minutes.

There is no reception, when someone arrives there's a number at door to call . The gentleman who served me was super unfriendly. The facilities are horrible. We had a washbasin in the room that was dripping from underneath to the floor, everything was dirty, room in very bad condition. I tried to talk with about this issues and the answer was: "if you want to stay here, with these conditions, stay, otherwise you can leave". Never in my life have I been in such a bad place, in conditions like this. It is preferable to pay a little more and stay in a place where we are not treated like garbage.

Very good location to both the train station and supermarkets. Staff was also incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and well taken care of.

Not worth the price. A run down tenement flop house.

BAD , I don’t recommend it at all! The welcoming was very offensive. I forgot my mask in the car and I told the receptionist I’ll pick it just now because I was going to park my car, meanwhile, the owner of the hotel saw me, he started to say in a very disrespectful yelling way : wear it now now !! He said to me if you don’t like the rules, leave !! ( ***) The rooms are different from the photos, I booked a double bed, he gave me a 4 single beds- room instead. Even the shared bathroom is common for many rooms, I wasn’t feeling comfortable at all, the neighborhood is not clean and not safe. I was afraid about my stuff and car, so I left and booked in another decent hotel but not there though I already paid for him the rental cost. After all, Business is about good customer experience!

The place is very convenient to the bus station, it takes you right to Venice St.Lucia. I like this place, it’s nice and clean. You can tell the place is well taken care of. It has windows with a nice views. The staff is very attentive and extremely polite. On the day of our arrival, he provided us with a map and was as kind to direct us to landmarks and give us recommendations. The one thing I would have to warn is that if you are going in after check in hours, you should have your own local phone as the hotel doesn’t use what’s up. The locals aren’t keen of letting others use their phones and you’ll have a hard time contacting the owner if you don’t bring your phone.
