No okay hotel/room whatsoever could EVER excuse such bad behaviour from an older man (staff from reception) yelling at a full-paying guest just because of a conversational language misunderstanding. ABSOLUTE NO GO; SHAME ON YOU, mister! NO RECOMMODATION - NEVER EVER AGAIN !

Nice location, walkable to the nice spots of Venice! The hotel is old and has a moldy smell. The stairs are steep to get all your luggages up to your room, be mindful of this if you have mobility issues or with many bags. The young man receptionist is welcoming.

Good hotel! Great location in Venice. We had a decent sized room and comfy beds. Shared bathroom was clean and you could store your luggage for free until 5pm which was convenient for us:) No air con :( but fan provided so kept room cool.

Smelly building, with bed that was like a rock. Soar throath after one night, believe there is mold in the building. Not recommending. Terrible. Had to cancel stay after one night and change hotel.

Booked hotel then got added charges. I write a message saying they should let people know. The response! Wow. Cancelled my booking and said they don’t want people like me and don’t need my money. Weird!

The worst thing about this property is the staff, and how rude they are. There was a bald man in there, ( sorry I couldn’t get his name) who was so rude He shouted at my friend for going into the dining room, although he knew that she has a drink in the fridge, the shouts of -GET OUT, GET OUT Was loud enough to hear all over the building. We have never been treated this way in our life. - the place was the biggest mess I have seen in my life, there are no room in the ground or first or the second floors, as the manager family lives their. So you have to climb nearly 25 steps of very dirty, narrow carpeted stairs to get to the first rooms available. There is no fan and no air condition in the rooms And in the Italian heat that’s a killer You have to keep the windows open. And then you will be eaten alive by the mosquitoes And you will not be able to sleep From the noise in the street Which is actually magnified because of the narrow streets if you want to have a nice trip to venice, dont stay in this hotel

Great location down a narrow passage close to a water bus stop San Toma.

The hotel ,for the price that a night costs,is very good and clean.It’s a little old but the staff is very kind .The bathroom was very nice and clean.The hotel is also in a good position and in about 15 minutes you arrive at San Marco.I recommend it
