Hotel Belle Epoque Reviews

Arrived at the hotel at night approximately 23:55, I was shocked there was not a visible light where I could locate the hotel, I had to knock to see if the hotel was open after locating it via maps, The reception person had to manually open the front door after me knocking. The hotel is very dated with no proper lighting, It seemed to me as if I entered into a ******* movie set. The guy gave me room in a building completely detached from the hotel, took me to the end of the hotel exited the building via last fire exit where staircase and lift was situated and I am not bragging, he opened the torch because it was very dark and we entered into a different building and he offered me the room on 3rd floor. Initial impressions were scary and once I went inside the room I was completely shook, The room was very strange and looked like a set from scary movie, the ceiling was full of spider webs, bathroom flush was broken, bed was uncomfortable and the lighting was very washed away. Everything including the furniture must be 10+years old worn and torn, the wall had holes in it, and the worst part the window opened behind the hotel  where people dumped garbage and put unused stuff. Despite me coming down and requesting the receptionist another room he informed me he cannot and did not even say sorry, The staff was very unprofessional and rude, They need to speak English or be able to translate and satisfy their customers. They moved me to another room next day because I was angry, the other room was not much better but it provided me a quick night stay, I would definitely not recommend this hotel to any person/family. There are a lot of hotel like this near noviciando water stop. Please be careful if you book in this area as you may not be able to sleep the night you arrive because the place looks like a horror movie set. I usually do not write this long reviews but I had to. I will also attach photos for reference.

Just a few minutes walking distance from the train station. Easily explore food, shopping for leather bag, souvenir..love the place so much. Definitely will come back again.

I WOULD NOT EVER STAY HERE AGAIN. To start, staff were unbelievably rude. Our room smelled like smoke, so we went to ask to change. She offered us a room that she “thought was cleaned but wasn’t sure” as our alternative. We ended up with the room that smelled like smoke over the dirty one. I would not recommend this hotel. The price was good and so is the location but frankly that didn’t make up for the poor treatment by the staff.

Belle Epoque, Location is 10/10. Room is great. However could improve heater in room. It is super cold I can not step on the floor directly. And iron is not made available safety concern as label in room. The rest is perfect.

This is a fantastic hotel! The reception people we super friendly, there is a continental breakfast that has a variety of food to eat and it’s in a great location. I would highly recommend this place!

The hair dryer was broken. When I told the front desk, they didn't apologize, they gave me the key to another room and told me to go there to use the hair dryer. The front desk's response was not good.

It is about 3-5 minutes away from Santa Lucia Train Station. There is no elevator inside the hotel, so if you have large luggage, you should consider it. I gave 5 stars for the environment because of its location rather than the good environment inside the hotel.

The hotel is good. It is located 1.8 km walk from one of the main tourist attractions. The breakfast is also good. The only thing that could really be better is the shower, the space is very small.

Everything is great. The only thing is that there is nothing within reach of Gulag. We need to go somewhere.

The location is very good. The room has to go through a utility room like a laundry room, and a dirty corridor leads to an emergency escape door. The quilt in the room is very dirty. I was also given a room with a ceiling full of mirrors. I felt extremely itchy after sleeping on it. The air conditioner reacted to the counter. It turned out that the central air conditioner couldn't control the switch in the room by itself. As a result, the room was super cold. I have never been in such a bad hotel.
