DoubleTree by Hilton Varanasi

Good over all experience, really professional staff specially the front desk manager and team.

We recently stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Varanasi and had an absolutely outstanding experience. From the moment we arrived, Abhishek made us feel incredibly welcome. Despite there being no availability showing online, he went out of his way to accommodate us and assign rooms. His professionalism, warmth, and willingness to help immediately set the tone for our stay. We would also like to sincerely thank Sundar, one of the Duty Managers, for his exceptional customer service. He demonstrated true leadership and hospitality by allowing a member of his team to go above and beyond in helping us arrange activities and navigate Varanasi. His kindness and flexibility made experiences possible that otherwise would not have happened. A very special and heartfelt thank you goes to Priti, who was simply amazing. She went far beyond what we could ever expect from hotel staff. Using her local knowledge and personal contacts, she arranged a private boat tour on the River Ganga for us at very short notice. Even more incredibly, she personally took us early in the morning to attend the Ganga Aarti and visit important local temples before starting her own shift at the hotel. Her dedication, warmth, and generosity of time made our trip to Varanasi truly unforgettable. These incredible experiences would not have been possible without Sundar’s support and Priti’s initiative, local expertise, and genuine care. In addition to these standout individuals, all of the staff at the hotel were attentive, professional, and consistently delivered excellent customer service throughout our stay. We are deeply grateful for the hospitality we received and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Varanasi. This stay was not just comfortable — it was truly memorable.

The Hotel is located in a rather congested area without a shred of greenery. The check in was quick and the room was kept ready. A few structural fallacies in the room were realised only later by me. The glass  door of the shower cubicle had almost 2.5 inches space at he bottom and an inch on the sides. With the result water would pour out on taking a bath and wet the entire wash room. The shower heads were also blocked and it was not a happy experience having the plumber working in the toilet on a ladder for almost an hour trying to clean the shower heads. Regarding housekeeping , on day 2 of my stay the housekeeping arrived after repeated calls to the reception only at 5 pm and on day 3 they came at 2 pm only on personally complaining at the reception. This was unacceptable since all our towels were already utilised in mopping the wet floor in the washroom. There is only one restaurant in the Hotel where I found the staff very cordial and friendly though the menu could be more elaborate…. it definitely was not up to the industry standard which would justify the costs. In a nutshell you could try the Hotel out provided you are prepared to deal with the few lacunae that exist at this point of time.

Terrible check in experience that I had in my life, arrived at 3.30 pm and there is no room for us to check in. And ask us to wait there more than 1 hours. When we enter to the room, the toilet bowl is full with urine stain and room curtain was dropping and half hanging. Bed sheet, pillowand blanket full with stain.

Amazing place to stay. Staff members are very kind and the place is super clean. Hotel arranged tours are also really nice.

Hotel is good with all amenities near by But service very very bad or did not expect this from this hotel Very very very slow service n does not respond until 2 nd call Check out cleared but nobody come to help with the luggage even though it was mentioned they will send the support person in 5-10mins n until second reminder reception did not bother to send the guy. After the breakfast nobody there to respond what we need even mentioned they were little reluctant the 2 ladies( one in white shirt n other in red shirt) in the breakfast section. After couple of reminders we got what we need . Thanq for the guys in breakfast session for their prompt response n attention for what is required for my 78years old mom n made her comfortable for her choice of food . Food is good with all sorts of breakfast choices Strange thing which I noticed first time is during check out reception place nobody bothered to ask how was the stay 😃  Finally guys ( red)

It was decent stay; but hotel staffs can do better.
