Recently I travelled to Varanasi 1st week of December , 2024 . Hotel staff and services are TERRIBLE . I booked for 4 days with full payment and had to leave the hotel after 2 days by my own choice around 10:30 pm at night due to family security reason , staff behavior , manager attitude without information , food availability and few more . Picture of the hotel place is differently shown , it is crowded place . Day 1 We reached the hotel . They picked up ( cab service is their business as hotel location is much away from actual Kashi ghat -even though km wise it will show 3-4 km but you have to take auto etc ) . So if you really need good location , please search hotel near Ghat like 1.5 km is good both way , traffic and walk . In the evening , when we went down for dinner , we see there are special invitees from outside ( team ) for party at restaurant . Waiter firmly said, today room service only . Someone said we can use backside room to sit and have food . We went there and arrange one table chair by ourselves and we family had food there . Alone and abandoned . If you want to be away from temple / ghats and travel on car only plus want to have your food at room then probably it is ok ( I didn't tested but as staffs / management are bad , you might face problem there as well ) . Day 2 I had Baba Viswanath darshan , needed a auto to reach in very morning . I advise nearer the better , obviously hotel you can choose based on your budget . Day 3 ( means 2 nights in hotel ) we went to Prayag Raj and Seeta mori , Hotel took Rs 4500 for this service , I mean cab . When we are back to hotel nearly 9:30 pm , we came to hotel restaurant again . There was one waiter was working , one table is occupied , not many people . Waiter didn't take complete order nearly 20-30 minutes , most of the items he was telling no and leaving us not hearing full order , not providing 20-30 seconds to us . With child we were helpless , requested to give some food as it was around 10 pm ( in Varanasi it is not much late anyways later I know ) . Then suddenly one person came ( manager ) , started misbehaving without knowing the fact . We are family and child , found it very risky . I immediately booked another hotel and decided to leave that hotel earliest as this problem was continuing from day 1 . As a visitor , we were spending very less time at hotel but still minimum service was not unavailable . If you order bottle water off-hours from room , they cannot send from reception . So you have to rely on hotel open water . Understanding security and service , we left the hotel but hotel didn't call back or refund any money for other days , as we left our own . Be very very careful .. Don't take this hotel except you need to stay inside hotel room and order . Rest it is you decide .
