The front desk service was excellent and helped us with everything that we needed. Florencia was amazing, as well as the gentleman in the evenings. They went out of their way to help us with every detail, and question that we had. The breakfast was also very good. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The rooftop deck and bar had excellent views of the city and was magical in the evenings. We would definitely be going back!

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. All the prior reviews were found to be very accurate and to the point. We had a very comfortable room with a kitchenette area, which was great for a making hot beverages in the morning and reheating some leftovers in the microwave From a delicious restaurant located nearby. One of the best things, is the hospitality of the staff. The front desk team were very welcoming and assisted with recommendations and tourist information. Breakfast was very good in the morning and the restaurant team were willing to cook your eggs, anyway you desired. The city does have security issues so be sure to ask the staff for tips on how to stay safe. I don’t want to be overly alarming, but vigilance is required. We did witness a tourist being robbed down by the harbor area, quite some distance from the hotel. We did a very enjoyable walking tour of the city and of course felt safe within the group.

Our 7 person party of family and friends had deluxe and loft rooms at Casa Galos for 5 days through Easter Sunday 2024. These were spacious, and well appointed with excellent views of the hills and ocean, including an open roof terrace with sofas, and walking access to many nearby restaurants, shops and popular points of colorful exploration. Day trip rides and Ubers came readily and safe street parking were convenient, enabling visits to Vina del Mar and Isla Negra. Breakfast was ample and fresh, staff were helpful in finding excellent eateries. Especially convenient was fair priced laundry service with same-day turnaround. Casa Galos is a gem for Valparaiso tourism with comfy beds and pillows and daily cleaning, nice showers and bath tubs.

This is a very cute and wonderful place to stay. My room was marvelous with lots of natural light, comfortable bed and lots of pillows. The roof top patio is a delight especially if you are with a group of friends. Nice people at the front desk and decent breakfast offered in the mornings. The only downside is that one must climb lots and lots of stairs to get to this hotel if you are coming from the central, lower part of town. The hotel is on a very safe street. But be warned, the climb is steep.

We stayed in a deluxe room there for only one night sadly because it was a makeup at the end of our trip because we had to cancel earlier because of the forest fires earlier in the month. The hotel was very accommodating to us in this matter. The room was large, roomy beautifully decorated with a view of the famous harbour. Well situated . Staff very nice. Lovely roof garden. Breakfast excellent. Complimentary bottle of champagne. Could’ve stayed longer.

Beautiful and spacious rooms. Very clean, nice shower. Breakfast included is excellent!, Manager and all staff so helpful and friendly. Rooftop pati has views to die for. Highly recommend! It is a downhill walk to many restaurants, but do take cab or Uber back….unless you are super fit.

We loved our stay here! It’s right in the heart of everything you need — amazing restaurants, wonderful street art, local shops, small grocery stores, etc. The staff were so friendly and beyond helpful. And the hotel itself is so beautiful (the rooftop patio was our favourite, we went up there almost every afternoon to read our books and lounge in the sun). We felt safe and peaceful here. Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook if we ever found ourselves back in Valparaiso :)
