The experience was alright, not the best one. But just that we needed a place to stay for the night and it fulfilled the purpose. Price high. Amenities few!

Some parts of this hostel are serious dirty. And absolutely bad that there are no privat shower options. Only one bathroom with some showers where everyone can walk in and out. Not nice for womans.

On April 19th at 7:20 AM, as I was preparing to check out, the hostel owner kindly greeted me and asked where I was going. Upon learning I was heading to Giethoorn, she gave me a pie and a box of grapes for breakfast. I was very grateful for her generosity and kindness. The hostel's refrigerator was stocked with milk, cheese, ham, and bread for all guests to enjoy. It was a truly excellent value hostel.

An atmospheric hostel in an old building with lots of books and musical instruments. There's a ginger cat. You can cook your own meals from shared ingredients, and the hostess prepares a hearty breakfast in the morning. The shower isn't very comfortable, and neither are the beds. There's a veranda in the courtyard.

I had a very pleasant stay here. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well organized. Everything was easy from check-in to check-out, and I felt welcome during my stay. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, which made it easy to rest. The main staff member, Eveline, was very kind, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. Her hospitality made the experience even better. The location is also convenient, with good access to transport and nearby places. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend it to other travelers. I would be happy to stay here again in the future. Thank you for the hospitality!

Does the job for a few days of short stay. The common area and common kitchen was good to spend time, cook your own food, work etc., as the rooms are 8-10 people bunk beds and anything other than sleeping is difficult from the bunk bed. You have to be self reliant. Close/walking distance from the city centre and Utrecht University.
