Unzen Kyushu Hotel

Unzen
This hotel in Unzen was the first place I came to on my first trip to Nagasaki Prefecture. [Room] When I entered the room, I was impressed by the Yubatake of Unzen in front of me. It was spacious and clean, with a terrace and relaxing while drinking beer on the room. I can't wander around with a yukata that is usually uncomfortable at a hot spring inn, but the clothes in the building are comfortable to wear, so I went to eat. [Hot spring] The hot spring bath in the room is very relaxing and the amenities are of good quality. Above all, it is very good to put it in roughly as many times as you like at any time. At first I thought it might be a little disappointing that there was no large communal bath, but it was rather the best. There is also a bathrobe, so I wore this after taking a bath and cooled down on the terrace. [Meals] It is a Western-style course, and everything is delicious with fish and meat. You can choose Japanese or Western food for breakfast. I made Japanese food, but all of this was the best. The dining space is also retro and has a wonderful atmosphere. [Staff] It was very kind and comfortable. [Others] There are two cafe areas, and you can enjoy alcohol for free. There was also a service where you could send picture postcards for free, so I was able to spend an elegant time. [Comprehensive] Good quality hot springs, delicious meals, warm service, and the best hotel I've ever had. It's hard to come because it's far away, but I want to visit Nagasaki Prefecture again to stay at this hotel. Thank you.

Obama Onsen Private Spa Hotels <Orange Bay>
4.7/58 Reviews
It really seems like a better accommodation than I expected. The location is great with a view of the sea, cleanliness, facilities, breakfast, etc. There is no flaw. If I had to find a drawback, would it be that if I don't close the curtains, it's visible from the outside? I think this is the best accommodation in Obama.
Unzen Iwaki Ryokan

I saw word of mouth and stayed with only expectation of hot springs. The quality of the spring was as expected. I think it is not bad overall if I don't expect meals. The improvement is as follows. The parking lot is difficult to understand. I didn't know if I had to get off the car and listen to the inn. As a result, I was parked for free in the paid parking lot in front of the sky hotel. There is no drinking water in the cherry blossom bath. You can't change the hot water in the cherry blossom pot. There are few cherry blossom outlets.
Unzen Fukudaya
4.2/510 Reviews
highly recommended This year, the hotel with the best experience of ”one berth and two meals” in Kyushu, Unzen Fukudaya, has been managed by the family for 50 years, and is now the second-generation operation. Inquiries: info@fukudaya.co.jp The most important thing is that there is a patient and careful Chinese young couple working in the store, one is responsible for the front hall and the other is responsible for catering. Traffic problems. Dinner was good, sulphur springs were good, and it was not expensive to book a private pool, which was great. Very worthwhile hotel, will organize friends to go next time! Reminder, there are Island Rail 1-day or 2-day tickets sold in Isahaya (Adult 3500 / Child 1750 yen, including trains and cars). If you go directly to the hotel from Isahaya, it is recommended to take a bus directly in Isahaya , About 50 minutes. If you want to take a small yellow train deliberately, you must get to the main station Shimabara, change the bus in the direction of Unzen at the gate, and it will take 2 hours to get to the hotel.
Unzen Miyazaki Ryokan
4.3/58 Reviews
I chose this place for the first time in Unzen, because it is close to hell. Welcome drink service, kind and polite response of staff, room food, hot springs. I was able to spend it slowly. Because many celebrities were used, I enjoyed walking in the corridor while watching the color paper. One thing I was sorry about was that the yukata prepared in the room was different from one in other rooms. The pattern was different, and only I had the inn name, and I thought that I had brought it wrongly for men in the dressing room, and everyone was the same except me. I thought about whether I was changing yukata so that I could see at a glance by the price of the plan or whether there was no other intention, but I was a little disgusted with the gaze from other customers. Other than that, it was an inn that I wanted to disturb you if I had another chance.
Hotel Seiunso

This time? Then, go to a hot spring inn. I made it ”Seiunso” with a good reputation for word of mouth. As a result, it was a great success! I was able to spend a fulfilling time in a waste of one night. The room was a bed, but comfortable as a wide 々. All the meals were delicious, including Nagasaki Wagyu beef. Breakfast was gorgeous and I replaced it many times. It was good that there was a pigeon, a local dish in Nagasaki. And after all, the bath was good! It was a pity that the large communal bath and the open air were completely different, but both were able to take a leisurely bath as wide 々. Especially while soaking in Tsuboyu, the time to watch the starry sky was very luxurious, and I wanted time to stop. It has become my favorite inn!
Yukai Resort Unzenonsen Unzentoyokan
3.9/536 Reviews
I was as little apprehensive staying here given the poor ratings, but I couldn't have been happier. Staff were friendly, and made an effort, although only 1 reception girl spoke any English. I had a Japanese style room overlooking the lake. It was massive, and very comfortable. The only issue was that the windows weren't double glazed, and it was freezing outside (-8c overnight), and the sitting area got extremely cold. I guess it doesn't normally get this cold though. The room was warm with the sliding doors closed. The onsen were perfectly acceptable. The rooftop one was great in the snow! I had half board. The food options were extensive at both breakfast and dinner. If you don't eat Japanese food the choice will be quite limited though. Good selection of free drinks, and decent selection of paid for alcoholic drinks. There's loads of common areas and places to relax. A previous commenter mentioned the long corridors, which is true, the wrong room can mean long walks to the onsen and restaurant. Overall, 5*. But remember this is a JAPANESE hotel, catering to domestic tourists, so don't expect an international style hotel!
