Chartwell Guest House
4.3/52 Reviews
The staff was very friendly, the location beautiful, but could not understand, they can make for breakfast scrumbled eggs, but no omlette? The container for soap in the shower was not fixed only hang up on the water tap so when you open the water the shampoo falls down. But these are small things, the view on the ocean and the room makes it worth to stay there . it was wonderful. Thanks a lot
The Oyster Box
4.7/566 Reviews
My husband and I have stayed at the Oyster Box many times when visiting family in Durban. We both agree that it is a world class hotel. The service is outstanding - truly 'best in class'. It's clear that all of the staff, no matter what their positions are, have been incredibly well trained from a customer service perspective. Our experience has always been magical. Thank you to everyone at the Oyster Box Hotel!

The hotel is very beautiful with a spacious view. The breakfast was delicious!! Moreover, the location of the hotel is the best part because it’s a walking distance to gateway mall. I’ll definitely come back.

Anchor’ s Rest is perfectly located, walking distance to the beach promenade with the lighthouse on one side and the little Forest Cafe in the other, cozy, friendly decorated and a little bit of Italian style, felt very welcome and enjoyed the pool and the honesty bar, it was really hot, Peter took care that we have everything we need to feel comfortable, very nice to stay in walking distance to Main Street with all the restaurants, enjoyed the stay so much, thanks for recommending Alwi’ s Drift Sauvignon Blanc, was my favorite on the whole trip, thanks again for the warm welcome and all the comfort in your house, highly recommended, Thomas & Birgit
