Old Daltongate House

Loved our little beak here its a lovely place to stay the rooms are lovely and a really good size with a nice big comfy bed and the shower in the bathroom was perfect.There is a really good choice of breakfast options and the freshly cooked English breakfast was a perfect way to start the day.Location is perfect literally a 1 minute walk into the centre which is packed full of little shops and plenty of places to enjoy a drink and something to eat i would absolutely recommend a stay here and will definitely be coming back again.

The hotel was situated opposite a big car park that had electric charging at fairly reasonable rates. The hotel itself is Victorian and it retains all of its beautiful features with my room still having the old coal fireplace clearly decorative but a greag touch.  The rooms themselves were immaculately clean and the bathroom was modern and the water steaming hot what more do you want! The landlady was really polite, engaging and really helpful.  The breakfast was very tasty I had the vegetation option which I recommend.  Plenty of fresh ground coffee and it was a great start to my day.  I highly recommend this hotel even if it’s for only one day or many more it will suit all that stay there.

Lovely clean room in a beautiful historic house. Wonderful decor and extremely comfy bed. Incredibly friendly and helpful. Excellent location. Superb breakfast.
