The room was clean and the building nice. Cleaning staff are doing their job well. Issues.... Room cards had to be recalibrated as they were for the wrong room on arrival so very lucky we weren't checking in late and getting cards from lock box. Balcony door couldn't be locked and no key to make it secure, in case you have curious children. Microwave had to be lifted over to sit on stove top as the cord didn't reach power point. Toaster is so old that most of the labelling on the front is missing. Radio & cd broken. There's no house keeping but it's inferred that you may receive supplies if needed. At $400 a night I was expecting a little more perfection. It took over 48 hrs for someone to respond, which is unacceptable, and at the same time telling me the balcony door could be locked. Wrong response! My son and I over 3 days continually tried to lock it and it simply 'DIDN'T'! If a guest wanted to they could've accessed it from apartments on the same level. JUST SAYING! It's rather condescending to imply that we were wrong. Then instead of offering to compensate this trip offered a 30% reduced rate for my next stay. Not good enough and I would've have considered a next time if my issues weren't ignored for two days and only after I sent another email outlying my complete dissatisfaction. Reading previous disgruntled guests reviews I'm not certain who the Hotel Manager is as there's three different people responding and stating they're the HM. I recently stayed at this hotel (4D3N) and had a great experience. They allowed me to check in early, which was very convenient. The location is fantastic, with the nearest tram station just a 12-minute walk away. And 20 mins away from the airport via Uber. The room was comfortable and met all my needs. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

Send the child to the University of Sydney to study, the student apartment can only be checked in on the 11th, so the VULCAN hotel opposite the apartment was booked to facilitate luggage handling. We stayed for a total of 8 days and were generally satisfied. The location of the hotel is very good, very close to Broadway Shopping Center, it is very convenient to eat and shop. It is a ten-minute walk to the University of Sydney, the train station, Chinatown, and the Port of Love. We stayed in a standard room, so the room was small but clean, with a small refrigerator and delicious cookies on the bar every day. The bathroom is very small, but the water is very large, so you can take a shower after returning from the outside every day. And the shower room is well-blocked, so don't worry about the water flowing out. The front desk staff is beautiful, friendly and welcoming. We were very satisfied with our stay. Next time I go to Sydney, I will stay again.

Had an amazing experience here during my stay. Staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room itself was clean and comfortable, we had a window overlooking the park which was just perfect! Location was also a major plus - right in the city and walking distance from everything we wanted to do! Would absolutely return next time!

Parent-child tour, booked two rooms, one is kingsize ordinary room, one is two single loft ~ loft layer height is a bit awkward, the stairs are also narrow, not suitable for children. Kingsize is very good and looks very spacious. The industrial design style is very good~ it is a member of the design hotel. Downstairs is the food street, there are many net red restaurants, I heard that the nearby albert st also has a lot of food, but there is no time to unlock... next door is the famous ”grass house” central park mall, the whole building is covered by green plants, big bus A double-decker sightseeing bus will pass through here to introduce a section. There is Ding Taifeng in the grass building, and the domestic high-end dining is quite cheap here! 30 per person per foot (Ding Taifeng of the Circular Quay Gateway is more affordable... 20 per capita, fast food in the food court...) Shopping is also very convenient, woolworth supermarkets can go shopping, there is also a row in the tide brand store. For the parent-child tour, the disadvantage is that the pool is outdoors, connected to the bar, the night blue light and the cold water temperature are really not nice...

Booked Metro Aspire Hotel on Ctrip, stayed for 4 consecutive nights. There is a guy at the front desk who speaks Chinese. When he is on duty, communication is convenient. Yesterday, I met an Australian white girl who cleaned the room. She took the initiative to communicate with us in Chinese and asked about the cleaning needs. She spoke soft ********* Mandarin. According to her, she learned it by watching ********* TV series. The room is very clean and tidy. The hotel has basic accommodation supplies, but you need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. You need to swipe your card to enter and exit the hotel after 9 pm. The hotel has a restaurant, and there are many people eating breakfast.

Easily accessible. Bar restaurant on site. Not very organized on the check in they have an office in the back towards the kitchens and leave with your credit card alone (it's scary at the time). But seems serious. No problem...

The location of Mercure is very close to the Central Station, which is very suitable for families like us with elderly and children. The staff at reception is very nice and helpful. She suggested us to sign up as a member so we could park at a discounted rate of $45 a day (the original seems to be $49). We were charged $1 which seems to be a deposit when we registered Check-in there. There are swimming pool and fitness facilities on the 14th floor. During our stay, we called the reception for the services. The staff came to our room quickly to provide services. In addition, maybe we stayed during the Christmas period, there was a draw. Were were lucky to win the prize. My child was very happy to win a toy remote car, which added more joy. We had a good experience with our stay. The hotel staff we met there are very nice and helpfiul. If we go to Sydney again, we will consider Mercure again! 🙂🙂

Our previous trip staying in Novotel Sydney for 9 days was unpleasant as the room cleaning was always not done and have to constantly calling the housekeeper to send the staffs to clean it. This trip during the Hotel Check in , I’ve brought it up to the counter staff, and we don’t face the same issues like last trip. During our 7 days staying, 1st day hotel sent the complementary fruits/cheese platter to our rooms. And the most important that our both room was cleaned, towel changed, etc. out 1st nite, we have a splendid dinner at St Thomas Kitchen in the hotel. The steaks was nicely done, the side dishes and desserts was great ! Have ordered room service for burger and salad, tast good and food delivery was fast. Will stays there again for our next trip.

I’m quite satisfied, except that I’m not used to morning tea😂
