This hotel is located near the train station and is run by Chinese owners. The facilities are all brand new and offer excellent value for money! (Compared to the Hill Hotel I stayed at on my first night in Ulaanbaatar, I literally laughed when I saw their ancient hairdryer with an overheating protection that looked like it hadn't been updated in over a decade). The hotel's second floor has a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious Chinese food. You can also contact the owner if you need to rent a car or arrange airport transfers.

The hotel exceeded our expectations! We booked a room for 3 adults and 1 child on our way to Ulaanbaatar. It's not centrally located, but in a quiet area near the train station. This suited us perfectly since we had our own car, and a great bonus was the private parking right outside our window. There's also a CU convenience store nearby for essentials. The breakfast was simple but filling, with Chinese cuisine. It’s best to go around 8 AM, though the chef does replenish dishes later. Our room had a kitchenette, but no sink or necessary utensils, just a fridge (which we didn't use) and a kettle. The room itself was very spacious and clean. Housekeeping came every day. We either had no neighbors or the soundproofing was excellent, as we didn't hear a thing. The only downside was that the radiators were cold, so it was a bit chilly. However, since we were only there to sleep and have breakfast, we barely noticed it. I definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for a good, quiet place with breakfast and private parking at a great price!

I was very satisfied with my stay at the Sun Resort Hotel in Ulaanbaatar. The room was exceptionally clean, with good natural light and soundproofing, ensuring a very peaceful sleep. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, promptly responding to any requests and patiently answering travel inquiries. The hotel is easy to find, conveniently located for getting around, and offers great value for money. I felt very comfortable staying here for my Ulaanbaatar trip, and I highly recommend it!

Everything was great! The location is good, right near the train station. The rooms are a bit small, but the beds are comfortable and the pillows are excellent. They even have smart toilets! We opted for breakfast, but I have to say, it's really geared towards Chinese tastes. You won't get much to eat – just a boiled egg and a couple of unidentifiable hot dishes. There's a mini-mart just a stone's throw away though.

Close to the train station, clean, and a decent breakfast. Early check-in was a plus.
