this was an obvious love motel. The self check in aspect confused me a lot since there were no instructions given by Trip.com on how to get into my room. I had to kind of stumble around and call the motel to figure it out. Trip.com contacted me later about whether I was able to figure it out. The room was clean with the usual love motel style.

It was my second trip to Andong with a friend in more than 10 years, and the Chiamgotok hostel was really a god. Last time I stayed in Hahoe Village, Andong, and it was a pity that it took too long to move. Chiamgotak is close to Andong Station/Market (taxi ride 5-10 minutes), and the atmosphere was so good. Especially if you stay in the Hodo Jae Room, you can use the table space on the floor, and it was so nice to be able to talk and talk overlooking the party and the yard. The room size was small but not very inconvenient because it was a home, the toilet seemed to use the other room in the public toilet, but the hodojae room is separately inside the room. Of course the size is very small. It may be a bit uncomfortable to stay for a long time, but I would definitely recommend staying for a day if you have time.

Good access to tourist spots and food around The hostel is clean and the boss is so friendly I've been resting well. I have to come here. Thank you ^^

In addition, the breakfast is rich and healthy, and the boss is very kind (I also want to thank the boss who is willing to help me find the post office, but I have to hurry to send postcards), and I also met interesting roommates here, leaving good memories, so I want to visit Anton and this hotel many times. The only downside was that on the way back at night, there were few street lights and it was a bit scary to walk. It can be said to be a 'life youth hostel'!!! As soon as I entered, I was attracted by the comfortable environment and cozy atmosphere, and I was very happy~~~ It is especially suitable for reading addicts. In addition, it can be said that it is not only a youth hostel, but also a cultural space where you can learn more about Andong. You can see decorations with the characteristics of the interior, such as Hahoetal, Suzhou, and Seowon everywhere. In addition, you can have a delicious and nutritious breakfast. The boss is also kind (I tried to send a postcard to my friend, but the post office is far away and the boss bought a stamp and sent it in the middle of the situation where Shigin is tight. Thank you). And I met a friendly roommate and left a very good memory!!! I think I will visit a lot in Andong and this youth hostel in the future :) The only downside is the surrounding environment. It was a little scary if I went back late. Fortunately, it is close to the bus terminal.

I like Anton very much, near the commercial street, the old street. The hotel is not bad. There is no elevator, but the floor is not high, the front desk is always in the house, it is a family.

CY ( 20.10.23 ) There was located in central area in Andong, I didn't check hotel review, so I was failed to choose hotel. I chose this hotel, the named ”hotel” and price, and I believed there was hotel. But there was just motel with motel price. I didn't understand why I pay more price thought online booking about 15%. So I asked staff why more expensive? The answer was simple, because of online booking fee. I think I was fooled. In this mood, I felt terrible on my Andong trip. If there introduced ”Motel” and same price online and offline, there was above normal reputation. But this two point made me there terrible hotel.

Location is great, few minutes walking from the bus stop where to take the bus to go to Hahoe, and few minutes walking from the center. Room was spacious and clean. Price a bit expensive in my view considering the prices I paid in other locations in Korea. I was happy I chose this hotel because of the location, but I think there is some room for improvements: - no english speaking staff (but this I knew at the moment of the reservation); - this is a love hotel, but it was not written anywhere at the moment of the reservation. For me this was not an issue but I think that it should be clearly mentioned so that people can decide if to stay in this kind of accomodation r not; - I asked for a quiet room, they let me choose between 2 rooms. The first ones smelt like of cigarettes so I chose the second one. During the night there was a lot of noise (I guess it was the ventilation system) and I couldn't sleep even with earplugs. I have asked to change room to let me sleep as the day after I needed to wake up early but they told me it was not possible even if there were plenty of rooms available (rooms available are with door left open)
