"A bed and breakfast designed for safari, in fact the host Max will contact you in advance about safari matters, if the communication is pleasant can directly not book a room We let it go because we didn't respond in time The room is a small bungalow with a small yard, very comfortable, bed also with mosquito net although the air conditioning is not required Sleep quality was okay, as I got up at 5 am, were back from Safari before having breakfast One more thing, Safari is great"

"Feels completely hidden in the jungle as you head off the main road down a single track road through trees. This is a calm oasis amongst Jack Fruit trees. The rooms are of high standard and extremely well presented. We stayed 2 nights while exploring the local National Park and elephant transit. We had half board which I would say is standard given it feels remote. The food is lovely and you are given a choice of approx 4 main courses. Would highly recommend for a relaxing, chill out to retreat to after a hot day of exploring."

The swimming pool was a fantastic spot to relax, and the superb breakfast and dinner were highlights. The surrounding nature is amazing, providing a truly tranquil environment where I could full relax. The staff were also incredibly welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended for a perfect blend of comfort, great food, and natural beauty!"

"We were conveniently picked up from our previous accommodation and arrived at the The Countryside Inn with a warm welcome. Our room was spotless, everything worked as it should and the pool and garden were very well kept. Very convenient location for Udawalawe national park and a 10min walk to the elephant transit house. Food was tasty and plenty of it and all staff were helpful and friendly. A special thanks to Thissa for safely driving us around! Would highly recommend."
