A one-night stopover, very convenient for parking. It's not far from several popular attractions by car, and the room was comfortable, clean, and tidy. It's a great mid-way stop on the way to Mount Cook.

It’s a very new motel, it’s very clean and new. Very spacious with good size kitchen and living room. For same amount of spending, I would rather stay in this motel than the hotel. Location is good as well, access to supermarket and restaurants in 5 minutes walk. Since it’s new, there’s a smell of paint, not ideal but not very strong and acceptable.

The lakes motel is a good base to travel to Mt Cook and Lake Tekapo, etc. motel is very clean. Housekeeping did a great job. Pots and pans look new. Cutleries are cleaned. There are food trucks just next to the motel. Parking is free. Will recommend.

Awesome motel! Freshly renovated, the rooms are beautiful, clean and so comfy. Twizel is a great half way location between Tekapo and Aoraki. Highly recommend, the only downer is I only stayed one night.

On our New Zealand road trip, this was the most satisfying motel we stayed at!

Newly renovated, clean & comfortable

New, very spacious, comfortable and fully functional rooms! The location is good because the town is very small anyways... so, of you have a car is 5min to everywhere :) we received a little 250ml bottle of fresh milk for our coffee, wonderful!!

Overall it's no problem. Car can park just beside the room. Good choice if you can't book a hotel at Mt.Cook. It's a small town with supermarkets. Famous in salmon. However, if you like to eat salmon sashimi, you need go earlier otherwise it will be sold out.

Wonderful. Located on the main road from Wanaka to Pukaki Tikapo, this motel is a great place to rest for the night. It's only a ten-minute drive from Pukaki. As shown in the photos, the facilities are very new, clean, and spacious. It was the best place I stayed during my entire New Zealand trip! (There's also a food truck outside selling burgers, which solved my dinner problem.)

It truly lives up to its reputation as a luxury motel. The rooms are fully equipped, the building is a single-story structure, there are parking spaces right outside, the reception staff are an elderly couple, and there are food carts selling burgers and pizzas outside the motel. Everything is very convenient.
