Just got back from our second ski holiday in this hotel. Gorgeous location, very clean, good food, familiar vibes and offers various fun activities for the young and the young at heart. Our children (9/12 y.o)loved it, and we are definitely going back next winter.

I rarely give a hotel 5 stars but the Hintertuxerhof more than earned the rating. This was our first ski vacation with our young children and this kinder hotel was a perfect recommendation from friends who are ski instructors. The staff was very professional and helpful, the room was more than large enough for our family. The food was really excellent. We especially loved the game buffet one evening. The ladies working child care were awesome. The kids were begging to stay with them. A big hats off to Marta! Also, the location within walking distance of both the ski lifts and kids’ area was perfect. Overall, the Hintertuxerhof is just fantastic for a young family on a ski vacation. We already look forward to next year.

Very convenient location, the funicular could be reached on foot within five minutes. The room was cozy, although I was a little confused by the lack of a separate door to the room with shower and toilet. One of the most enjoyable aspects is the food at dinners and breakfasts. I can also note the helpful staff at the reception and in the restaurant

Beautiful rooms - the view was amazing and the staff so friendly- food delicious!!!!! We will be back and certainly want to bring back our children and grandchildren!!! The beauty from our balcony brought me to tears!

I joined a one week alpine ski training camp on the Hintertux Glacier run out of the family owned Hintertuxerhof Hotel. It is a first class operation with fantastic meals and hospitality. The rooms are large and comfortable. My room had a balcony with fabulous views of the mountain. There is an excellent ski and ski boot storage area with boot warmers and even a ski tuning bench.

Allways happy to be back at Hintertuxerhof with my family. Everybody including grand children love it. Great food, wonderful care of the team. The landscape, air, hikes are amazing. Always something to do for the children.

I spent 10 nights at the Hintertuxerhof in June 2022 with my two kids. Incredible first class kid friendly property a short walk from the gondola. Exceptionally well appointed family friendly rooms, restaurant etc. with an amazing indoor playroom and outdoor playground!
