DeLaSol Sapa - Central Boutique Hotel

Delasol's Chapa Brasserie Restaurant's breakfast buffet has an impressive spread divided into different stations. First is the hot coffee/tea and other beverage station. Succeeded by a table of cold cuts, cheese appetizer and salads. Next station is the breads, pastries and pancake corner. Followed by the highly patronized Hot counter for made to order Pho and Egg dishes. h other local dishes but leaned more on international cuisine. Finally the main course array with a line up of asian oriented dishes are enough for every palate to enjoy in the morning. Stepping inside, we were greeted with a meticulously indochine inspired dining hall with wood and leather studded chairs. The showstopper is floor to ceiling glass windows which have a panoramic view of mist shrouded mountain range further adding to the enjoyment of the dining experience.

It has an amazing room with stunning view. Perfect for relaxation and the rooms are spacious. Breakfast is very nice. The weather in Sapa is also nice.

Friendly staff and pleasant stay. The staff assist me to book bus tickets back to Hanoi. Besides that, they also book for the Fansipan electronic tickets. This assistance help me to overcome the long queue in buying the tickets

The hotel is located in a strategic location, within an 10 minute walking distance (upslope is expected) of the Sapa Station (Sun plaza). The room is spacious, and the cleanliness is top-notch. The shower has strong water pressure and a stable temperature. The staff were extremely helpful. They can speak English very well. The hotel breakfast has different selections and live stations (eg., fried egg, omelette, pho noodle). They served the breakfast from 6.30am to 9.30am at 5th floor, which is next to the hotel lobby. We got a mountain view room and you can really see the nice view when there is not foggy. We don’t hear any noise from the street and the environmental within the hotel is quiet and peaceful. We arrived at Sapa in the early morning (6am) and there is no room available for check-in. Therefore, we waited until 12pm and it was lucky that the staff allowing us early check in without extra charges. I also put a remark that it’s my husband birthday and the staff prepared a waffle cake and send to our room once we have checked in. Appreciated for the special arrangement and I would sincerely thank you the staff who really attentive to every notes from the guests. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel because of its clean environment, great hospitality, and friendly staff.

Unfortunately, this place completely disappointed us. We specifically booked a room with a mountain view, which the hotel charges extra for. However, instead of a mountain view, we ended up with a view of a staircase. Our room was 604, I guess we were even “lucky” not to get room 605, where the view is completely blocked by the stairs, yet it costs the same as a “view” room. The manager refused to change our room, even though I had informed the hotel in advance that we were on our honeymoon. The hotel made no effort to accommodate us. They had also promised a complimentary cake for our honeymoon, but that never happened either. The level of service is basically zero. At breakfast, when you ask for an omelet at the egg station, they simply forget about you unless you stand there and supervise the process. I had to remind them twice just to get two omelets made. We were so disappointed with the breakfast that my husband didn’t even go on the second day. There are plenty of cafes nearby where you can eat better food and be treated properly. Other downsides: the soundproofing is terrible, you can clearly hear neighbors and people in the corridor starting from 6 a.m. Also, the bathroom smells like cigarette smoke, even though the room is advertised as non-smoking. Last but not least, the photo on Google Maps is misleading: there is no swimming pool, even though this was one of my key criteria when choosing the hotel. Overall, a complete disappointment that is not worth the money, especially for a “view” room. There are other hotels nearby for the same price with much better service, views, and overall experience.

Amazing service, prime location and very friendly and helpful staff. Loved our stay here and will definitely come back again. The hotel even provided a lovely dessert and card for us to celebrate my birthday.

The room was very big and it is clean. Location was quite good as well.

Great hotel with a convenient location—within walking distance to Sun Plaza and other spots in Sapa town, though the walk there can be slightly uphill. The hotel is nicely situated between the town centre and attractions like Moana Cafe and the Alpine Coaster, making it easy to explore both sides of the area. The rooms were comfortable and offered an amazing mountain view, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Upon special request for a birthday, the hotel also arranged a complimentary cake and a hi-tea set, which was a very thoughtful touch. Breakfast could be improved as the selection was quite limited, but the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and kindly prepared vegetarian fried rice for us upon request. Overall, a pleasant stay with warm hospitality and great views.
