I gave cleanliness a perfect 5 stars. The location is very central, with Tromsø Cathedral just around the corner, which also gets a 5-star rating. Service received 4 stars because the room wasn't set up for three people, even though three of us checked in. Facilities got a full 5 stars.

Centrally located in Tromsø, which makes getting around super convenient. The breakfast was excellent and offered great value for money. I'd definitely choose this place again for my next trip.

Lovely stay, good location, really good breakfast

If you're looking for the best spot in the city, this is it. The location is truly central and ideal. The service was good, making i feel welcome from the moment i arrived. But don't skip the breakfast—it’s worth every penny! Fresh, abundant, and delicious. Five stars well deserved for location, service, and food quality.

An unpretentious but comfortable hotel in an unbeatable location in central Tromso (the third photo is the view from the hotel window). Highlights include the friendly staff (a shout out here to the ever helpful Petter), tasty and healthy breakfast, and comfortable sitting areas that mean you don't have to hang out in your room. Given the quality of the hotel it is surprising - and highly annoying - that they don't provide kettles in the room (I even offered to pay a deposit), the more frustrating because some photos on the site show coffee machines: so some rooms do have these facilities. The selection of toiletries is also surprisingly meagre - no shower gel for example, which seems unnecessarily cheapskate. My other gripe is that they need more individual tables in the breakfast room: finding a space at a long table feels reminiscent of youth hostelling... With these shortcomings noted, the hotel can be recommended and is good value for Tromso.

It's decent, the location is quite good.

The location is excellent, just next to the harbour and church. Many attractions & shops nearby. The room is clean. The breakfast is nice.

Amazing buffet breakfast, awesome location. The only minus is they don’t clean the room daily.

This room wasn’t as expected as I stayed in room 703 before. This room 225 was small for 3 adults. No space to open luggages. Lack of charging port. One charging point next to entrance of the door and placed so high that our cables wasn’t long enough to reach we have to pull a chair (see photo luggage height) The tv is spoilt too, u have to adjusted up and down to get TV to be working!!! You have to informed reception to open door to parking so that you can park your car inside, just pay a fee. I love the breakfast buffet.

The place is really great, just at the centre of Tromsø, next to the beautiful port and the bus centre; the restaurants next to the hotel are amazing as well. My breakfast was included, and I really enjoyed the breakfast, lots of choice with great flavors! Strongly recommended!!!

Amazing food. Amazing beds. Amazing location. Amazing price.

The Tromsø hotel was really bad value for money! The washbasins looked dirty, the mattresses on both beds shifted easily, and you had to sleep in a very upright position on the 0.8-meter beds. Of course, the hotel's biggest advantage was its good location and the wide variety of breakfast options. Many people say Norwegian food is bad, but I thought it was delicious!
