Oceanfront Condominium - Nilaveli

Spacious apartment, perfect location next to the beautiful beach of Nilaveli. Several restaurants and activity centers close by. We loved it!

I never write bad reviews, but on this occasion I felt compelled to. We booked this property but, due to unforeseen family circumstances, were unfortunately unable to make the trip. We were not expecting a full refund, but we had hoped to at least have a conversation with someone to see whether a partial refund or perhaps a credit towards a future stay might be possible. Unfortunately, despite trying for several days to make contact by email and telephone, and even asking other local hotels to try contacting the property on our behalf, we simply could not get through to anyone. We also contacted VRBO and *******, both of whom were unable to reach the property either. What was particularly disappointing was the complete lack of communication or acknowledgement that we had been unable to attend our booking. We completely understand that booking terms and cancellation policies exist, but we would have appreciated the opportunity to speak to someone and explain our circumstances. Sadly, the lack of any response or customer service left us extremely disappointed.

We needed to alter our itinerary at fairly short notice. Tried to phone, email, message via the agent app. Nobody answered. Still waiting on some kind of response a couple of weeks after the booking. Property took our money but have refused to communicate with us.

We are so grateful to have found this place. The coast in this area is beautiful. But staying in Uppaveli our accommodation was marred by pretty constant boom boom music from 8am every morning. Nillaveli is a haven for peace seeking beach lovers and the Condos, although not where we would usually stay as we go simple, we luxurious and beautiful, with direct access to the sea. The staff were brilliant also and made us welcome from the start. Plus the restaurant in the reception area served good inexpensive food. Really nothing bad to say and Roshan on front desk is totally charming too.
