Our stay was simple and easy for Austin, Texas just down the street from the Great State of Texas Capital building or a short walk to the river. The hotel staff will greet you and have you wisked away to your room as fast as possible. Our room #2314 was a regular king room and the large size was good to have. The windows were floor to ceiling to have great views of the city day or night. Austin is home to the Texas music scene so many stay here for the access to all that is offered. The staff made sure our stay was enjoyable and I highly recommend requesting the charcuterie board with a great bottle 🍾 as it was sent up for us from the hotel. This hotel is designed for the business traveler in mind, great meeting spot and conference hotel. Book a breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Corner for a great meal. With my recent move out of my Austin home of 33 years to work remotely from another state, I love routinely staying at South Austin Marriott for its impeccable attention to detail, comfort and service! I’m typically there for a week at a time when attending meetings at my nearby headquarters office. Kudos to M Club’s Trinidad Garcia who always makes me feel like I’ve come home - what a joy! She is an excellent ambassador for Marriott! Well done!

This was a first staying at a Canopy by Hilton; what an amazing location! From the minute of walking in the front door, you are met with a ”fresh breath of air” ambiance! The staff, especially Leonard, Heidi, and Jordyn, taking care of every detail of my stay was perfection...great attention to detail, professionalism, and personality!! Every detail from the cleanliness of the room, the bar, and Verbena (the restaurant) was fantastic! You MUST have dinner at Verbana. Highly recommended for a quick weekend stay or a stayation in downtown Austin.

My family and I, along with our friends, stayed at the Residence Inn Austin SW for my son’s wedding…total of 130 guests, for a 3 day wedding event. We are from NY, and hosting a wedding 1800 miles away was a daunting task. General manager, Susanne Thau, along with her front desk manager, Elizabeth Beeson, and Chloe Richards made sure that we had everything that we needed in order for all to have a great time. They accommodated all our needs and everything went smoothly. Susanne made sure that her staff took care of all our needs throughout the weekend. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are large and clean. The meeting space and general areas, including a wonderful outdoor space with a pool and hot tub are gorgeous! It allowed for us to have a brilliant weekend. We cannot say enough thanks to them all for making it a memorable weekend, one that we won’t ever forget.

The line is such an incredible hotel! It is beautiful with extremely comfortable beds and rooms. It is the perfect, central location and has everything you may need for a trip to Austin, including a hotel bar, pool, taco restaurant and rooftop overlooking the city. The staff is friendly, professional and helpful. I will definitely be staying at the line again!

Check in/out was extremely quick & easy. But please keep in mind that other than the hotel itself, there is absolutely nothing in the area within walking distance. With a short Uber ride you do however have access to a grocery store and other restaurants. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained. The lobby offers complementary coffee and fresh fruit daily. There is a pool, although we did not use it but it was kept clean. We did take advantage of their on-site barbecue grill which they were extremely accommodating for us to use. We even offered some grilled steak to the gentleman at the front desk. We made s’mores at their fire pit one night. Breakfast – was pretty basic with the usual waffle maker and eggs. My personal favorite were the premade mini omelettes. Those are definitely a keeper!! As for the room itself, it was also very clean and well-maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had a small kitchen as well. The bathroom however, I was not a fan of. We had very poor water pressure in our shower, The choice of shampoo and body wash was lemon sage which I did not really care for when there are so many other choices out there. Lack of towel hooks to hang things. Also the lack of a vanity mirror. I found trying to apply my make up in the morning was slightly difficult when I cannot get up close to a mirror. The body length mirror that they have near the kitchen has poor lighting so I could not really use that as an alternative. Also, the shower door in the bathroom is an extremely poor design. There is no actual sliding glass door that closes fully so water was constantly seeping out onto the floor and wetting our floor mat every time we took a shower. Overall our stay was extremely pleasant and I would stay here again in the future if there were more things within walking distance.
