Check in: the man did not give a friendly greeting and he did not mention that breakfast was included.
The room: just so-so. Somehow we were placed in a handicap accessible room so the toilet and shower area were huge. This was fine but there was no place to set the clean towel when taking a shower. Also, the showers on Saturday morning and evening were COLD. The room had only one bar of hand soap so the shower had only a tiny shower gel and no shampoo.
The service: there was no housekeeping done on day two. I asked at the front desk and they said I had to ask for it at check in. Well, I wasn’t told about that at check in so we needed towels, coffee, creamer replenished by me. And we found out in the middle of Saturday night that we didn’t have extra toilet paper either.
The price: my total bill for two nights was $450 and I feel I was grossly overcharged for this small, plain room with bad service. When I complained about the housekeeping issue, one of the young me. Said he would talk to the manager about a discount but evidently the answer was no.
Overall: very disappointed. Will not stay here or at another Baymont again.
