Lovely hotel in a fantastic spot. Great service and good breakfast. Would be good to have tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms though.

Lovely spot , great service and wonderful room with balcony looking over the lake. Doreen at the front desk was so helpful and knowledgeable. She helped me extend my visit when I loved it so much there and decided to stay instead of fighting the crowds at cinque terre. Breakfast was plentiful and very pleasant atmosphere. Would come back from USA for another visit and would stay nowhere else.

Incredible place, charm and view. Great place great hotel, beautiful brunch on morning on the balcony. Everything was perfect, even the car park far from the hotel (due to the peaton street around). We enjoy staying there.

A delightful quieter town on Lake Garda. The hotel was exactly as we had hoped. It has a great deal of history and charm. The service was excellent, everything was spotless, the breakfast was expansive, which we enjoyed on the balcony/terrace. The hotel's location was excellent, near many local restaurants. This is a quieter town (especially during the week) so it's not for big party-goers. I think children would enjoy the amusement parks to the south more. We encountered a couple from Australia who had been in some busy cities like Venice and they decided to stay here for ten days to regroup and relax. The ferry is nearby but unfortunately it was extremely crowded so we could not get on. (Perhaps buy tickets in advance?) The fellow at the ticket booth was extremely helpful, providing us with info on a busy and ferry in a nearby town to get to Lemone on the other side of the lake. I would also recommend that you pre-book a driver from the Peschiera del Garda train station for convenience if you do not have a car.

This was the perfect spot for five days of relaxation and beautiful scenery. We enjoyed the delicious breakfasts, the wonderful service, our room, and the surrounding harbour restaurants. It is a quiet area which we preferred in comparison to some of the other towns and villages on this lake which were very busy. Lively on weekends and Monday market. Easy access to the ferries (book the main one in advance if you can) and buses are simple.

This was our third stay at Hotel Gardesana so we obviously love this hotel. Sitting out on the front patio after an day of exploring Lake Garda, having a drink and a snack and watching people stroll by and the activity around the harbor is a great way to enjoy this beautiful hotel. The owner and staff are amazing and all go out of their way to make you feel at home and part of their family. I have taken family and friends there and can't recommend it enough. Can't wait for my next visit to this wonderful hotel.

Small hotel centre of village on edge of little port. Modest size room but well appointed. Balcony with lake views. Good,quiet air conditioning. Wide range of choices at breakfast buffet. Breakfast taken on first floor balcony. Doreen the receptionist very helpful, checked timings and organised taxi transfer to the airport.

Really nice stay at the lake Garda! Friendly stuff, good breakfast, cosy room & beautiful view above the lake. Good location for trips and swimming/ hiking and as well the surrounded restaurants. We are recommending this hotel and say a big thanks to the team of the Alberto Gardesana.

As always, our stay at Hotel Gardesana was excellent. Check in with Doreen was smooth and very friendly. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very good with a great range of choices.
