Perfect spot for exploring Capitol Reef We loved our stay at Red Sands Hotel! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable — great to come back to after a day of hiking in Capitol Reef. The location is super convenient, just minutes from the park entrance. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and the hotel has a really calm, relaxing vibe. Bonus points for the rooftop deck and the cozy lobby — perfect for chilling out in the evening. Would absolutely stay here again!

Red Sands is in a beautiful area…our view of the mountains, horses, the pond was FABULOUS! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our bed was so comfortable… We would definitely go back!

over priced for sure. Staff has a hard time explaining things but were nice. Pool was nice until they opened garage door to pool which made it very cold for the kids. Rooms are small, makes it hard to accomplish anything including walking around in room with kids.
