I would give this place 5 stars for everything... so very clean, and fresh smelling without an overpowering scent of cover up that so many hotels have. Staff was great, room comfortable, location was perfect. However, since it's probably a bit older, the walls are pretty thin. We could hear people on their phones on 2 of the mornings. No big deal, but on the 3rd night, the people above us were walking around their room all night, and somewhere (room next to us) had the tv on all night, which I could hear. It was annoying. Not the hotel's fault, not much they can do to fix that. I would just suggest getting a room on the second floor. I would stay here again for sure... on the second floor. The little store was convenient and the bakery had delicious treats. The burger truck, Capitol Burger, had the BEST burgers. Breakfast is not included with the room, but you can buy items at the bakery/deli. A great place to stay.

Breakfast doesnt come with the stay but they have a ittle breakfast and deli. The food is fresh and delicious. You can get a boxed lunch to take with you. Great for hiking. We had the suite. Its like having an apartment. Five woman plenty of room and a deck in the sunshine overlooking the pool and mountains. The lodge met all our needs

The lodge was great for our one night stay. Free coffee at the deli, a short walk away. No free breakfast, FYI. Clean comfortable accomodations.

Property has potential but we had problems. Faucet handle loose, poor shower, key lock system is a joke, TVs are old and few channels. However the office TV did get a lot log cable channels. No labels on shampoo, conditioner or body wash and no bar soap in the tiny bathroom. Mattress uncomfortable and if you do want breakfast, it is available at the gas station next door for a price. Since it’s located in a valley we had no cell service and their WiFi was average.

We came in the evening and the staff has left early for the day, called the number on the door to get the room number. Staff was also not helpful when asked for a late checkout.
