It’s a simple, cozy hotel right at the sea in Torre Cane. Easily reach from the airports Bari or Brindisi, they have several parking places, if you come by car. We rented one and use it always to explore the neighborhood. Our room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was fine with bigger selection, the food at the beachbar was not a big thing. They have plenty of sunbeds next to the pool and at the sea too.

Beautiful structure, comfortable, more than enough space for all guests, helpful and very kind staff, decent animation. To improve: Quality of cooking and/or food raw materials. I expected higher quality of the dishes in the restaurant for a 4-star hotel, excellent service. Swimming pools to be renewed. There is no Schuko socket in bathroom. When booking, I advise to pay attention if there is a balcony or not, there are various rooms without a balcony, it is very annoying to hang clothes on the common terrace near the fire escape stairs, and not be able to enjoy the sea view while sitting on your own terrace. Ping-pong table to be placed in a suitable space. At the moment it is located in a very narrow space where it is almost useless for adults. Remove abandoned bricks in the sea used to fixing boats. Manca presa Schuko in bagno almeno. Eliminare mattoni fissaggio barche abbandonati in mare.

Lovely, fresh clean hotel. Very helpful staff. Food is very good. We pre ordered our evening meal at the buffet breakfast there was always something nice to choose. The breakfast buffet ran like clockwork.

The hotel staff is really lovely and caring. The location is beautiful and the beach is very well kept by the beach staff. The food is good and perfectly curated with a daily wide choice of amazing local dishes. Signora Lucia of the spa gives the best ever massages… strongly recommended to try. Only a couple of suggestions. Beach bar service and the wonderful pizza and focaccia at lunch time.

The reception and pool areas are splendid. Bedrooms mostly too small and dated. Bathrooms from the 1950s. Our first room had a balcony which extended about 3 feet and gave us a stunning view of a massive satellite dish! Back to reception and received a grumpy reception, but got sea view! Still a 3 foot balcony and 30 euros a day more for something we believed we had booked. Tried further change but nothing available. Definitely not 4 star bedrooms. Food very mixed, breakfast designed for Germans not Britains. There were genuine Puglian sweet treats on the first three days, very small number gone by 7.35, start time 7.30. Dinner ranged from tolerable to terrible. Choice of two starters and two mains is not four star nor is having to sit down at exactly 7.30 pm. Two nights I chose meat lamb and veal; they were inedible! The fish was a bit better but overall maybe worth two stars definitely not four. Reception staff were generally incapable of smiling and mostly unhelpful.

We stayed there in October as part of a Newmarket group. There ARE definitely some positive points; specifically, the table service at lunch and dinner, rather than the now distressingly-common buffet-based scrum we see in many chain hotels nowadays. It has to be remembered as well that October is definitely towards the later end of their summer season, and a number of other local facilities had already shut for the winter, and a nearby mini-market had permanently closed as a victim of the Italian government's Covid restrictions. The room we had (non- sea side) in fact had (a small) sea view, but was certainly adequate for our needs. The bathroom was, again, at least adequate. I note an earlier complaint about a small shower, but ours was certainly acceptable - we've been in other hotels where the shower unit was considerably less good. Continental breakfast, buffet-style, was fairly innocuous, except for the orange juice machine. There's been a previous adverse comment about this; the orange juice dispensed is small in quantity and extremely watery in quality. I can say without any fear of contradiction that this was the worst I have ever tasted anywhere - indeed after the first day, I didn't even bother. It wasn't disgusting, just without any taste at all! The coffee was good, once I managed to persuade the staff that I didn't want "americano", but a large full-strength espresso. Dinner menu selections were ordered at breakfast, from a choice of two starters and two main courses. Not, perhaps, the biggest menu in the world, but, again, acceptable. The wine list was quite reasonable, with a single glasses of house available , at non-eye-watering prices. We had small snack-type lunches on two days, with choices from an a la carte menu, but even so, not excessively expensive.

Stayed at this hotel in September but we will not be going back…. Should have taken more notice of some of the earlier reviews regarding the size etc of the rooms. The biggest disappointment was the location, it is too far out of the town on a poor road which was difficult to walk during the day and far too risky at night. To add to our disappointment there were no local taxi services and the ones we could get had to be booked in advance and were very expensive. It cost eur 30 for a return trip to the town. This probably explains why the hotel catered mostly for Coach Holidays. So independent travellers be aware, either hire a car or don’t go.

We had another lovely holiday at Del Levante this year and want to thank all the wonderful staff we met again – Antonella, Giuseppe, Katya, Marcello, Angela, Pasquale, Danilo, Joseph, Massimo and many others in and outside restaurant as well as our special Stefano who kept us supplied with coffees and drinks into the evening. Lovely flower bouquet was arranged for room - birthday holiday. Food was really lovely as usual and we had two special evening aperitif evenings with traditional music and Panzerotti etc in evening sunshine. Some variety of good musicians and dancing were welcome in the evening. Absolutely lovely pool once cleaned. Wonderful cheerful beach attendants. Our room had special views and although still dated it was adequate, cool and we were brought more pillows when requested. Lovely balcony with potted coloured plants outside. Our grateful thanks to the wonderful cleaning ladies who made our room up every day, watered birthday flowers and plants and cleaned throughout the hotel. 😊and enjoyed MichelAngelo’s aperitif games in the morning. A few issues this year that were disappointing: Our hotel ordered taxi did not turn up to meet us at the airport and so were told by hotel to get one from outside airport. We paid with this by cash and the driver wore no mask and driving was far from safe with hands off steering wheel a lot. The salad bar in restaurant has now gone as well as cooked breakfast items. Salads and omelettes could be requested with meals but sad to see this loss of food variety. There are now no buses from hotel now into town. There is no local cashpoint – the nearest one is 6.2 miles away in Fasano. The local taxis charge more when cards used. The Animation Eureka team has become less professional than years ago when we had a greater range of adult activities such as nightly boules / petenque events and international inclusivity. Children’s evening activity dominates. An appalling cabaret event was hosted where team pretended, they had epileptic or spasm events / falling on floor – disgrace to discriminate against disabled – no one was laughing. 2 quizzes offered but non-Italians were told to google the words and were not included. Male head reception was rather abrupt / unfriendly with us when settling our bill (over 2K Euros). We were told we should have brought cash to pay for flowers when we noted we had but had to pay a taxi on arrival he said we should have used a card but we hadn’t been told that. I think the reception could do more to advertise local services, festivals and even tours to boost the local economy.

The only reason 4 not 5 stars is that it is a modern 5 storey hotel and caters for children which at first seems a bit ‘holiday camp’, and not what we would normally book at all, but in fact as we were out of school holidays it was very peaceful. The rooms are ‘old fashioned’ and smallish, but well appointed and Housekeeping need a special mention as they are scrupulously clean. As are all areas in the hotel and quite incredibly outside too. The grounds, pools, bar and beach staff work tirelessly from early morning to make this so. The team is pleasant, helpful, always on hand and everything is run to a high standard. We didn’t eat at the hotel other than to have a shared (decent) pizza and beer at lunchtime as only 5 mins away is a superb restaurant, Al Baco. The breakfasts were from a mass buffet, but good, though the fruit juices were served from a machine and were watered down a lot which I’ve never experienced before! Pool towels are charged by the day which we didn’t realise at first so we kept ours going for the remainder of the hol! Staff throughout were excellent and the Reception team couldn’t have been more accommodating.
