The location is unrivaled and excellent, the staff are very polite and enthusiastic, and as a ”cleanliness” I am also very satisfied with the hygiene. There are two disadvantages: the subway in room 535 is too loud, there is a subway passing through the underground every few minutes, it is very noisy! The shower water in the bathroom is too small, which is very unpleasant. Therefore, if you come again, you will definitely not choose 535 and similar rooms.

My wife and I stayed at the Windsor Arms September 16-19, 2022. On Saturday we returned to the hotel around 10:30 PM, tired from a full day of sightseeing. We found the entire ground floor of the hotel occupied by screaming young people celebrating a wedding, and the ballroom dominated by a very raucous band. Needless to say, we were unable to sleep. When we called the desk to request that the amplifier be turned down, we were flatly refused. No relief; forget it, we have a party going on. Our second call did not even elicit sympathy from Calvin; he seemed affronted that we would even call to complain. To add insult to injury, when we finally drifted off to sleep after 1:00 AM, we were abruptly awakened by, not one, but two different phone calls--presumably Calvin venting his anger at our complaint. When we checked out on September 19, I complained to the desk attendant and requested some compensation for our inconvenience. She very quickly informed me that would be ”impossible.” I asked to see her supervisor and was told that ”only the ”owner” could grant relief. Of course he was not present, and she refused to give me his name or contact information. She did promise to have him call me--what a hoax. Two weeks have passed without any call, and without any apology. Bottom line: don't come to the Winsor Arms for a good night's sleep. Mike Henke

The staff at the Ritz-Carlton Toronto made this vacation so memorable for our family. From the time we checked in, Devan worked to provide us with an amazing room & make us feel welcome. We appreciate his efforts. Our son turned 8 the day before we arrived. They left a balloon and special dessert for him in the room. We cannot say enough nice things about the Club Lounge staff. Olga, Emma and Oana welcomed us each day and went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. Rose & Pricilla were incredibly kind to get to know our family and ask about any needs we may have had. Rose even had popcorn and snacks sent to our room for a movie night for our family. Additionally, she contacted a special bar (BarChef) nearby to make a reservation. You can tell that it is important that her guests enjoy their experiences. I had the chance to meet the club floor manager, Max Reidel, and he too was extremely gracious with everything. I encourage other travelers to book the Club Lounge for your stay. I spent a day at the spa and was impressed with my massage, the staff and atmosphere. Our family also had the afternoon tea one day - it was delicious! We can't wait to come back. We will book the Club Lounge for sure!

Because the hotel is just across the road and close to the subway station, the facilities introduced are also good, so I chose this hotel without hesitation. After I stayed, I felt very bad. It was the worst hotel I stayed in in Canada. I checked in the first night. We checked in at Niagara Falls and it was almost nine o'clock in the evening. We booked a double bed. The room was gone, and Ctrip could only change rooms the next day after the negotiation, and the trouble caused naturally need not be said; the next morning, I found that there was a reminder of the consumer text message at 3 o'clock in the hotel on the credit card. How to get it out was inexplicable, and it scared me to quickly close the credit card transaction function. Later, I was fortunate to have Ctrip help to solve it in a timely manner; I finally changed to a twin room the next night. Unexpectedly, this room was near the subway and it was too noisy to sleep all night . Fortunately, we stayed at this hotel for only two days! The most profound lesson is that when you deposit at the front desk of the hotel lobby, do not leave your credit card with your credit card, and do not easily give it to the front desk customer service. Special thanks also to Ctrip's customer service for helping to solve all the problems effectively and timely!

Possibly one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. However, I can’t give full 5 stars to Hotel St. Regis Toronto for reasons that I’ll explain later. On the subject of location, the Hotel St. Regis in Toronto is in a very fantastic location in downtown Toronto with many of the city’s main sights and attractions (CN Tower, St. Lawrence’s Market and Yonge-Dundas square) all within short walking distance from this hotel. Readily accessible through RideShare apps too. Regarding staff, they were super friendly and helpful, in our experience. We initially had some debit card issues at check-in and admittedly, we should have been better-prepared for the credit card culture in North America. Thankfully, St. Regis were very flexible and our debit card issues were eventually resolved. I’m truly impressed by how accommodating St. Regis are for those of us who are from places that very rarely use credit cards. The offer of complimentary water at check-in was also appreciated. The housekeeping team, especially the Filipinos, were very thorough, kept our suite spotless and respected guest privacy. And on check-out experience, this is where St. Regis Toronto loses points for me. The check-out process took way longer than what is typically expected especially for a 5-star location (should be ＜10 min but took about 30 min for us). Unfortunately, a bit of the little time we have left in Toronto was wasted. What’s also disappointing was this time, there was no offer of complimentary drinks (even tap water, which is free and generally safe to drink in Toronto) while we wait. Admittedly, the staff seemed overwhelmed and visibly stressed during the time we were trying to check-out but I hope the situation improves for the St. Regis Toronto team in the future. On the atmosphere, it was magnificent and luxurious. These two words came to mind when we first entered the lobby. The grandiose look of Hotel St. Regis in Toronto permeated the whole building, from the hallways to our suite. In terms of our room, we booked the Grand Suite which was on the 28th floor and the views from up there, especially at night, were phenomenal. Our suite was very spacious and generally had plenty of storage room. St. Regis Toronto also loses some points here when it comes to storage since we found that there was insufficient storage space for cold items and there was no freezer either. The heated floors and the walk-in shower were also fantastic. The accent wall, mood lighting, clever use of marble for the room design and chandeliers were wonderful touches too, contributing to the luxurious atmosphere of this hotel. The living area of the Grand Suite was our favourite area, especially at night. I’m going to mention the views from the Grand Suite again as they were truly spectacular. On the online engagement. at the time of writing, I found the low level of engagement by St. Regis Toronto with online reviewers here at Google disappointing. I especially like this hotel, the price is right, the location is in the core area of Chinatown, this is the second stay. This time I made an appointment at carpool. The hotel entrance is very wide, suitable for parking luggage on board, because the appointment will arrive at three in the afternoon, and it is still far from the check-out time at eleven o'clock. We think that our DELUXE room is oddly set-up. The bed is in the middle of the room. TV is in front of the bed. You can watch TV if you are in bed or sitting at a narrow table behind the headboard. The sofa is against the wall & faces the back of the TV. The worst feature is a low wall separating the bath from the rest of the room. There is a privacy curtain.. The result is that there is no sound or good light separation between the bath & bed. Any sound in the bath room will be heard by the other person in the room. The refrigerator is a square one with not much room. No coffee machine or microwave. Free coffee & hot water downstairs in the morning but that was not mentioned on checking in. A big bath but no separation between toilet & the rest; the toilet faces the shower. .Separate shower & tub. The shower could use some minor repair. For us the big tub is a waste of space. Parking is cheap nights & weekends, both next door & two blocks away. It is $4/hr week days. Surprisingly the room is quiet even though it is a corner one on Spadina. Unable to upload photo.

To the south is Queen Fashion Street, to the north is Dundas Dining Street, to the west is Spadina Chinatown, to the east is the Provincial City Hall Eaten Center shopping mall, and beside it are the Ontario Art Gallery AGO, the Ontario College of Art and Design OCAD, and parks Squirrels can be fed. You can walk south to the CN tower and the lake, and go north to how big it is. Very convenient for travel experience. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet, the heating is sufficient in the room, and the space is relatively compact, but it is equipped with a small refrigerator and microwave oven, and there is a washing machine and dryer in the ba*****t, which is very convenient. I like the oriel window of the room on the second floor the most, with a view of the street. The administrators Lucy and Sam are very friendly and willing to help in any way. Made us feel at home here. Will come again next time if there is a chance.

This is an update to a previous review. We travel a good deal and have decided to only write a review when we really think things are exceptional. This is just to say that since our rave review we have been back a number of times, both as a family and alone, and nothing about the hotel has let us down. The hotel and service staff are next level. The design, comfort, cleanliness, food/bar offerings and location are fantastic. We are sensitive to indoor air quality and that part is never a problem at the ACE. Best of all we always have a great sleep. Thanks again Ace hotel for giving these ex-Torontonians a place we really look forward to coming to. It’s really our favourite hotel in the city.

We have chosen this ground floor two bedroom apartment for our family of 4. Rooms are very spacious with a living room, kitchen and dining room with high ceilings. A washing and drying machine is located in the bathroom and very helpful for us staying 4 nights. All things are perfect condition, clean and provided. Location is perfect for us, easy walk to nearby Kensington Market, and to an Asian supermarket T&T as recommended by the apartment manager. An excellent stay for group of 3-4 persons visiting Toronto. I’m glad to have found and chosen this place for our trip.
