The brand new hotel is completely beyond the style of Toronto, very retro metal elements, and the mix and match is very trendy. The color matching is bold and fashionable. The new hotel is very careful in many details, super praise!

Good location and nice king size bed room
Just wifi needs to pay and free for Marriott member only
I am the Marriott member but during the check out , it charges me wifi fee , after discussion, then it was waived as I am the member , I would suggest to
Offer free wifi for hotel customers as this is very common in all other high class hotels

The service of the cleaning and catering staff was very good.
However, the front office staff was not very professional. I booked two rooms for my family and me for 7 nights initially and then extended for another 3 nights under another booking. I was confirmed by the receptionist on 2 occasions that I didn't need to check out and could stay in the same room. However, in the evening of the 8th night, we were told that we had not done any checkin for the 2nd booking even though we have got new keys to the 2 rooms that morning. It was such a mess and we had doubts to the security of this hotel.
Besides, one of the rooms was smelly and we needed to turn the temperature of the room to around 20 degrees so that the smell was not so obvious.

We stayed at Sheraton for 3 nights, we came at 2:20pm and were able to check in. We had a room with the view to the square. Everything was clean, we had all necessary amenities in the room. Room was cleaned every day, as well as towels were changed, the bed was made and bottled water was provided. We've booked the room with breakfasts, that was a good decision, they were big and delicious! The swimming pool and gym area is also nice, they provide towels. At the time of check in they take a deposit ($100 per night) and return once the room is checked by them at check out. Location is amazing, walking distance to all downtown attractions, 5 minutes to subway. There are two options of parking: 1) valet parking ~ $70/day and they can charge your car (if it's an electric one), no additional fee for charging or 2) public parking which is located right under the hotel for ~$30/day + additional fee to charge a car.
To sum up - it's a nice place to stay!

The hotel was fantastic, great location and great facilities. The staff were also top class, extremely helpful and polite. Nathaly on reception ensured we were not only up to date of what the hotel could offer but provide a city map and pointed out lots of areas of interest for us to explore. Matthew in the concierge team was equally helpful and polite, leading use directly into the subway from the hotel to prevent us needing to carry heavy cases down the steep steps at the external entrance. Many thanks for helping make Toronto a great experience.

I can't say enough wonderful things about the Delta Downtown Toronto! We were treated like favoured guests, our every request was handled with professionalism and real concern for our happiness with the quality of our stay, and every staff member was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient.
The room was spotless and gorgeously appointed; even the bathroom was stunning with a fantastic view of the city. Our only sad point was that the pool closed the weekend we stayed there, for what I presume was emergency maintenance, which was disappointing.
I would stay with Delta again for sure; fantastic hotel chain!

GGuest User2023.09.02
I’m a big fan of the Canopy brand in general, but I have a hard time loving this particular Canopy. It seems like it’s designed more to look great than to be great. For example, the electric controls next to the bed are unnecessarily complicated— there’s about 9 buttons to control different lights and shades and things, and it isn’t easily usable. You have to hunt through all of them and try to remember the difference between the sconce light and the halo. It’s needlessly complex and that makes it harder to use. There is also a motion-activated night light under the bed, so if you get up in the middle of the night, it shines a light for you, which isn’t great if your partner if sleeping or even if you yourself want to try to go back to sleep. The night light is hyper sensitive, so it activates even if you just lay in bed and dangle your leg down. And there’s no way to disable it. If you don’t want lights going off every time you get out of bed, you have to shove a pillow under the bed to block the motion sensor or cover up the light. I love the filtered water/ice stations (one of my favorite parts about canopy hotels!) but the ones I used here seemed a lot more temperamental than others. You have to hold your water bottle at exactly the perfect angle before water will dispense, but since there’s no instructions, you have to poke around til you figure it out. There’s no little shelf in the shower stall, so if you bring your own toiletries, you have to either put them on the shower floor or balance them on top of the wall-mounted toiletry bottles. I also didn’t love that there’s no door on the bathroom and only frosted glass around the toilet cubicle. The bed was great — very comfy — and the blackout shades were an excellent touch. Very convenient location, close to the subway. And the decor is beautiful, very sleek and bright. It just all feels like it was designed without any context of how a guest will actually interact with all these things.

Toilet not flushing properly. Corrected after I raised the problem with staff. Toilet paper roll holder loose. Corrected after I raised the problem with staff. Elevators often very slow. One time it was on service and cleaner asked us to take another elevator. This hotel is slipping due to benign neglect. I only stay there because of location.

It was such great over there, the only thing they need to do to work more for room maintenance, the shower room is leaking water to the washroom floor.

Outstanding
RRuilinThe hotel is located outside the subway Union Station. It's a convenient place to stay, whether you're coming from the airport or taking the Go Train back from Niagara Falls.
There is a coffee machine with 3 capsules, cutters. Just bought watermelon at the supermarket outside the hotel.
Nice radio, playing music for me right in the door.
GGuest UserThe location is incomparably excellent, the staff are very polite and enthusiastic, and as a ”clean freak”, I am also very satisfied with the hygiene. There are two disadvantages: the subway in this room is too noisy, and there is a subway passing through the underground every few minutes, which is very noisy! The shower water in the bathroom is too small, which is very uncomfortable. Therefore, if I come again, I will definitely not choose *** and similar rooms.
NNgMoonI was initially apprehensive about staying in an ”old” hotel, but my worries came to rest. It was similar to a cottage theme with very clean rooms and adequate amentities. Staff were always very friendly, greeting us everytime we leave and return to the hotel, and responds promptly to our housekeeping requests. 10 minutes from the hotel, there is a park with a calming stream, a great place to rest and rewind from the busy city life. Nearest train station is just 5 minutes walk away, and a 30-45 minutes car ride to downtown. Some downsides though, there are no nearby restaurants besides the one in the hotel, and no nearby supermarkets. Utensils were not provided in the room so be prepared to bring your own set. Hotel lifts seem a bit worn out but had not broken down during my stay. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay given the calm surrounding vibes and amazing service. I would consider returning in the future
GGuest UserThe room was very good. I don't know if it was upgraded or for some other reason, but it was a large suite with complete facilities. It was quite new, clean and tidy. Toiletries and bathrobes and slippers were provided. Luggage could be stored at the front desk. The service attitude was good and patient (because I didn't understand English, I relied entirely on a translator. The front desk communicated with me very carefully using the translator). It was a pity that I had to go somewhere else. I only stayed there for one day. I will stay here again next time if I have the chance.
YyatsenenokIt's a hidden gem. The hotel is really nice. It has perfect location, convenient parking (paid ~$50/night though). There is 24/7 coffee, tea in the dining area next to the lobby.
We had a room on the 6 floor, new and clean (room itself and the bathroom), the view from the room was also nice.
Beds were comfortable, there was a choice of pillows. There was refrigerator and microwave in the room.
Hotel provided very nice breakfast!
Staff on the reception was nice except for one girl. When we tried to check in, she said we have to provide credit card, we told her that we have debit card or cash ( to leave as a deposit). Her reply was - then you can change the hotel, there is plenty nearby. (BTW, the room was prepaid online already).
Other than that girl everything was great!
RRuilinby Lake Ontario. Get off at Union Station of the subway, turn to Streetbus No. 509 and 510 in the subway station, and you will arrive at the hotel entrance.
The girl at the front desk is very elegant.
Inside and outside the hotel are stylish and stylish, and the rooms are fresh and beautiful. Very comfortable.
Equipped with coffee machine, several coffee capsules.
GGuest UserI want to start by saying how happy I am that the host let us check in an hour earlier since it starts at 5pm instead of the regular 3pm. This is an Airbnb type of place that requires you to put a $450 deposit for a one night stay which I thought it was very high. The location is amazing, walking distance to the CN tower and restaurants.
It is a very cute place except for the cleanliness. The place was DIRTY. We decided to not use the shower because it was full of mold and hair (picture attached), there was hair everywhere! We saw there was a washer and dryer but the washer was full of towels that yet needed to be dry so we decided not to use. There were stains in the bed sheets so we decided to lay some of our own towels on top to sleep. We also decided to not touch the kitchen because the burner was broken and we did not want to cause a fire or something like that. Over all, it was decent for a one night stay but they need to fire the cleaner because I believe it is an easy fix to be a better place to stay.
YYibanhuoyanyibanbingHotel location is very good, 6 minutes drive from the airport, Uber is 13 yuan.
The room is not small, the bedding is average, and the bathroom supplies are also average, but two bottles of water are provided every day, which is very good in Samsung Canada.
Breakfast is good, the richness reaches 4-star level, there are waffles and fresh fruit. However, egg sausages and bacon look at the chef's mood, some are fried
