We arrived on a dark and stormy night, too tired to drive to our reserved hotel two more hours away. It was Cranfest so prices were very high but we took the room anyway. The room was modernized and very clean but short on space. The beds were excellent. The problem was that the hotel is in the process of refurbishments and the hot water was lukewarm at best. When I complained to the desk at checkout, the staff refunded s significant portion of the fee *without* our asking! They were extremely friendly and pleasant.
