We chose this hotel in Japan at the beginning of our honeymoon and stayed for 5 nights. This is our first time in Tokyo and we are very happy to be able to stay in such a good hotel. The process we were looking for this hotel at the time was a bit dramatic. We took a taxi from the nearest subway station - it cost 500 yen, the price was a bit embarrassing, it turned out to be so close to the hotel. The next day we found that there was a bus service, about every20-30 minutes, there was a car to the subway station, and then we took this bus all the time. The hotel's hospitality staff was professional and friendly. We arrived at midnight and soon someone took us to the room and helped with our luggage. Our room was stylish, comfortable, spacious and clean. In the morning, we found that the view outside was really good and we could see Mount Fuji! There is a lake on the right, quite big, there is a flea market there on weekends. The accommodation business we booked also included breakfast, we tasted both traditional Japanese cuisine and Western breakfast. I have to say that we like both flavors. The variety is rich, the service is thoughtful, everything is great. There is also a small thing that is very touching. When it rains, you have to ask for an umbrella at the front desk. They will happily provide the prepared umbrella with a charming smile. Tokyo's subway system is very good. After half a day of play, we returned to the hotel to rest, very convenient. Every time we went to the subway station, the hotel bus was already waiting there, which was so convenient. After a break for an hour or two, we can start again without any problems. The government building is a must-visit for tourists and it happens to be close to the hotel. We went there to have a bird's eye view of the whole city. There is also a good souvenir shop around, we went around for half an hour and bought a lot of things. The Japanese know how to make good souvenirs! I highly recommend this hotel and we would like to return.

Great, well managed hotel in the Ebisu district of Tokyo. I was here for three nights before flying home. As mentioned turn right after you exit the JR train station and walk all the way down through the tunnel to the hotel. I really like the the outdoor mall at the Yebisu Garden Place with it’s unbelievable food court. This place should win an award for a urban outdoor development with book stores, coffee bars , high end restaurants, hotel and train station. If I’m traveling with my wife I would stay here. If I m traveling with my teenage kids I would stay at the Hyatt in Shinjuku as it is closer to the action. I loved the 17th floor executive lounge for afternoon snacks and drinks . But I preferred the lobby lounge for breakfast as it had a better selection of items. I would not however pay $130 extra for the lounge. The rooms were very nice . I was so impressed with how clean the rooms and lobby were maintained. This is a world class hotel in the upper price range.

The rooms are clean and the garden hotel is rare and there is no public bath, but the location of Roppongi is no problem. The decoration of the entrance was nice, and the restaurant on the top floor had a terrace seat and the Tokyo Tower was also visible, and the hard side was good. But the problem is the service side. I stayed at 5/11 (water), but I was very disappointed with the breakfast staff the next day. Lower male staff wearing blue shirts at the breakfast restaurant. I didn't get a breakfast ticket, and when I tried to enter the store, I stayed overnight? I was suspected, and I asked for an examination, and I answered only ”it's okay” without expression while looking at the PC screen for a while. What is it? The service attitude is very good, but there are only 2-3 people checking in and checking out, which is not enough. There will be a lot of queues. Although there will be helpful receptionists to ask for reservation information in advance, it will still take a long time. The advantage of the lobby is that it is on a high floor. The privacy is good. There is a dedicated elevator to get to the guest room, but the disadvantage is that you need to go to the elevator every time you go out/come back. Compared with the accommodation experience eleven years ago, the facilities feel obviously outdated. Breakfast is not a buffet but an a la carte menu. I don’t know how often it changes, but it is the same for two consecutive days. Although there are many ways to prepare eggs, the appetizers, salads and fruits are the same. It may be a bit boring if you eat it for two more days. Freshly baked bread will be served. Come here and let me choose, but they are all shortening and French tart, which are quite greasy. Several kinds of homemade yogurt are good. The puddings are all sweet. When I ordered on the first day, I ordered pancake as the main dish, which was relatively normal. The waffle that came with the second day was also shortened. The chocolate after housekeeping is delicious. There are two kinds of dark chocolate and milk chocolate. The hotel’s chocolate lobby restaurant also sells it. It's not too far away from Roppongi Tower. It's about 1.00km or 10.20 minutes walk. You can see the night view of Tokyo Tower from a distance.

There are many positive things to say about this hotel, the space is huge for a Tokyo hotel, very clean, and the location is more than excellent. However, am extremely disappointed and displeased by the service that was provided by a female Caucasian staff member of the team. Of our 7 days of stay here, we have only tried to make a single request, which was to make a restaurant reservation on the 21/5 in Hokkaido as I could not read or speak Japanese so I require assistance from the team. She initially wanted to dismiss me as soon as possible until a Japanese colleague came to assist us. Provided us with a restaurant reservation form and we filled it. Thereafter, she said she cannot reserve for us because the date of reservation is after the date that we are staying at. Firstly, this is such a simple request and I only made it because I’m unable to do so myself due to the language barrier. Secondly, I was appalled by her laziness and attitude when conversing with us. I have never encountered such horrible service by a hotel concierge in my life before, many others would be glad and happy to assist with such a simple request.

The rooms are like on the photos, not very large. It is a little tight for 2 people, but to do well. The bathroom has a small and deep bath, where you can do well in and a small toilet. staff were very diverse. Our reception was warm and friendly, but the man who was there when we left wasn't all. We had met with the staff earlier that week to leave our luggage overnight. When we came to pick it up, we became very unfriendly The hotel is very good in terms of location and price ratio. All is expensive in Tokyo.

Great Hotel and amazing place to stay! Front Desk Staff was Great! The way their approaching me with smile made me feel “Family welcome” Welcome drink was amazing and Lobby was WOW like a sports bar also. When I entered to the room, I felt relaxed and refreshed because of the great set up and cleanness by housekeeping staff. It was amazing that there was everything I needed in the room. Amenities, coffee etc. The bar on 9th floor has great view and amazing signature cocktails. Bar staff was professional and lovely! Thank you so much,I will come back again. The Lively hotel showed to me great hospitality.

I would give this hotel 2.75 stars if I could. Check-in process was super complicated. Their bed configurations on third party websites are all wrong. Manager was no where to be found when needed but would relay messages through the front desk. All of a sudden is ”gone for an hour” when I asked to speak. Rooms are just ok. We asked for the room to get vacuumed multiple times during our week stay because there was a glob of hair on the carpet. It just made me feel like the room wasn't cleaned thoroughly. Pros - free coffee downstairs, free amenities, washer (to ONLY wash), separate toilet from shower, right next to Shibuya scramble and several subways/JR line, right above Family Mart, walking distance. Cons - carpet, staff not accommodating, Hotels.com, Expedia bed configurations are all wrong. Beware and be careful of this! They will NOT accommodate you based on the 3rd party website details being incorrect.

The washbasin is very small, and the water can be sprinkled all over the floor after washing your face When leaving the store, I need to store my luggage. After checking out the room card, I found out that the locker needs to be used when I live in it. When I asked the front desk, the first reaction was that I could not use it after checking out, which is outrageous. Later, I talked to the front desk and asked me to store it in their office after staying for four or five days.

Me and my boyfriend shared a superior single room at this hotel in June 2019, it was small (as you would expect from a Japanese hotel room) but with 2 big cases I was actually really pleasantly surprised with the space, neither of us felt suffocated. We were there during all the crazy construction, and we barely found it to be an issue at all. No noise, and little inconvenience. The hotel is surprisingly easy to find, and im terrible with instructions! The location is 100% the best part of this hotel. It was a piece of cake getting around Tokyo, easy access to Shinjuku/harajuku/akihabara, (odaiba is a little out the way, but not too difficult!). Lawson across the street, lots of restaurants, really close walking distance to Shibuya crossing and all its shops. Prior to arrival, I had my cases shipped from Tokyo disney resort to this hotel, and one of them was missing. The service regarding this was great, the check in desk rang up the delivery service for me (Yamato?) and figured out the situation. Within a an hour or two, I got a call to my room and they informed me that the luggage had been sent to the wrong area, but they were now delivering it to mets. What a relief! Do not worry about any language barriers, the staff are great. Another great thing about this hotel is the free smartphone they allow you to take out around the city with you! Having this was incredibly helpful for google maps etc. Cannot fault our stay at all, and I would stay again during my next trip.

Very cute, warm , small and petite lobby . Lobby would be the size of a large bedroom with a small sit out ( about 2 sofas) and desk . People at the desk are super friendly . Most can understand English at the desk and one of the front desk lady speaks impeccable english ( she stayed in US for few years ). I stayed in such a small room for the first time. If you are travelling with 2 suitcase, there is probably no space to put both of them. I didnt like the bed though : wrought iron bed , bit creaky and shaking. I personally like beds that you can sit and lean on while reading ... not possible here. The room lighting is very dim and i have never seen such small bathrooms/ shower before. The railway station is 10 minutes walk, many eateries right in front ( local japanese, turkish, Indian, american diner, Thai food ... most options available ). Shibuya
