The hotel is centrally located and I think that’s basically the sole reason I may consider staying at it again. Checking in was smooth (thanks to the HK colleague seconded from Ritz Carlton HK), and other than that, I think your hotel staff needs re-training, especially the concierge team! Terrible service and clueless! My friends who were also traveling were not as lucky at check-in. One wasn’t able to get his room at 6pm and was asked to wait (20 mins), and when he finally got his key, he went into the room where someone was already in it. Who could expect this kind of mistake happened in a “modern luxury hotel”? My other friend nearly traumatized trying to check-in with a staff who can’t really speak English and don’t understand what “confirmation number” means. To me, the only disappointment was no upgrade at all even I was a Titanium member then. But well, I of course understand it is “subject to availability”. Hotel itself and its location is superb and definitely create a modern luxury feeling. But I’m staying in a HOTEL and HOSPITALITY and SERVICE should be the most important. And Edition Tokyo fails in all aspect, and maybe this is how you want to create a “lasting memory”? The short lady at the concierge was rude and impolite. When I was trying to ask about the timetable of the airport bus and where the stop is, she simply said why don’t you check it online cos you need to use your credit card and book anyway! I cannot believe this kind of service in Japan, let alone at a 5-star Marriot managed hotel. In the end I let my friend to handle it and she told me she talked to 3 different concierge colleagues and each gave a different answer, in the end it had to escalate up to the duty manager to get a concrete response on how to take the airport bus to Narita. Crazy! Then on separate occasions we went to the lobby bar. We requested to sit by the window and the waiter there said “it is reserved” on every occasion. In the end of course the sofa by the window was empty (and on one occasion it was empty till the bar was closed). I got annoyed and asked for the restaurant manager and I said “if you need a minimum spending just say so, why you have to put us at the bar table?” She said she would look into it and of course no one has yet to give us a good reason why is it the case. And service at the bar was appalling and to a certain extent I would even use “racist” to put it. As a Titanium with Marriot Bonvoy and a Globalist with World of Hyatt, I must say I made a terrible mistake staying at Tokyo Edition. I am sure I would receive better treatment and a better holiday experience if I stay at Andaz Tokyo which is across the street!

We stayed for 4 nights at this hotel. The location of the hotel was perfect as it was right next to the Tokyo tower so the view was beautiful at night. The hotel is also less than 10 minutes away from 2 metro stations so travelling around the city was convenient. The room size was big so we slept comfortably as a family of 3. The toilet was also big with a modern set-up which we liked - will definitely stay here again.

The rooms are clean and the garden hotel is rare and there is no public bath, but the location of Roppongi is no problem. The decoration of the entrance was nice, and the restaurant on the top floor had a terrace seat and the Tokyo Tower was also visible, and the hard side was good. But the problem is the service side. I stayed at 5/11 (water), but I was very disappointed with the breakfast staff the next day. Lower male staff wearing blue shirts at the breakfast restaurant. I didn't get a breakfast ticket, and when I tried to enter the store, I stayed overnight? I was suspected, and I asked for an examination, and I answered only ”it's okay” without expression while looking at the PC screen for a while. What is it? I'm sorry to have not given the ticket, even if it is not my mistake, or I'm sorry to have you wait, or I'm supposed to say it in a normal business hotel? In addition, the mask case passed was also red source, so can you change it? When I ask, I only answer ”it's okay”. It may be a habit, but the customer service level of the Yasui sake shop. It's a new hotel, not in the central business district, not far from Tokyo Tower. Everything is good, except that the room feels a bit smelly. The hotel room is well designed. The floor I live on has a lounge, and the breakfast is more Western-style. There is a ramen restaurant downstairs in the hotel that is very delicious and is recommended by Michelin.

We always love staying at Tokyo Prince hotel! This time it was bigger room so we fully enjoyed our stay. Location is great very close to venter of Tokyo and easy to go to Haneda airport. This time I have learnt that there is a shuttle bus to Hamamatsu-cho station which is very convenient. Stuffs are very polite and friendly that make us feel comfortable and they’re willing to help us. Thai time we also enjoyed a course at one of Japanese restaurants which was very delicate and superb! We fully recommend others to try if they want to try proper Japanese food! One thing that I was disappointed this time was that room desk was dirty, looked like cleaning wasn’t donw properly so I had to clean it by myself. ( looked like previous customers tea or food stain was still there at a desk ) Tokyo Price hotel is one of the traditional and famous legendary hotel so I hope they can improve their cleaning method and make sure it’s clean before new customers come and stay. And when we stayed there before there was coffee machine but seems not this time so it was a hit disappointed too…hope they can provide it again… However over all our stay was comfortable so we will come back when we come back to Japan!

My stay at Oakwood was excellent. The room is spacious - including the bathroom and with kitchen and washing machine facilities. The room was very clean, including all the kitchenware and bathroom. My stay was extremely comfortable. The location is very close to the Metro station, and a few min walk to the azabu juban area with lots of shops, supermarket and restaurants. I also have to commend that the staff and concierge at the hotel are extremely helpful and responsive, they helped with my various requests promptly. I stayed in 2 different rooms, one of the rooms had the view of Tokyo tower. I will definitely be back!

The hotel is in the Izumi garden building, and the taxi navigation often takes a short detour to the other side of the hotel, and the signs are very clear. Downstairs is the subway station, which is convenient for travel. Walk for 10 minutes to Roppongi Shopping Street, and I feel that there are more international friends than Japanese. The hotel service is quite good. The room refrigerator cannot fit the large items that need to be refrigerated. The lobby manager helped to put them in the hotel refrigerator, which solved the top priority, which is very good.

1) The room is clean. You can store your luggage as soon as you check out at 11 o'clock. There is a restaurant downstairs where you can add breakfast by yourself. There is rice to go with curry, miso soup, etc., bread & intestines or grilled beef ribs, vegetable juices, and homemade pancakes. Desserts; 2) The surrounding area is very close to scenic spots, such as Zojoji Temple, Oneimon Gate, and Iron Tower, which are all within a few hundred meters' walk. There are also Minato Ward Office and Keio University School of Medicine. There are people walking dogs around the Iron Tower. Shiba Let's relax in the park, there are many people jogging in the morning; 3) Family and Lawson are right next to the building; 4) Transportation, it is close to Daimon Station, Onarimon, and Hamamatsucho. There is no elevator when leaving the station, so you have to carry your suitcase! All in all, the price/performance ratio is excellent and worth recommending.

When I came to the metropolitan area a year ago, I stayed in front of Richmond Yokohama Station, but this time I chose this place for the convenience of the area. If I was staying in Yokohama, I was planning to have a breakfast buffet at the hotel this year, but there were many places nearby where I could eat the morning set, so there was no problem. The size of the room and the bathroom ... I think Yokohama, where I stayed last year, was higher in grade, but I'm convinced that it can't be helped due to the location. Location: 1) It's 5 mins ride from Ginza , taxi is about 880 to 12xx yen depends on timing so if you have a few people travelling , taking taxi is a good option. 2)It has 2 metro stations nearby with very short walk. I tried to google actual view for the walk before ibarrived japan and it felt like much longer than it actually is. Both stations are just around the cornor. Daimon station is on Asakusa line, and Onarimon station on Toei Mita line. 3) Many convenience stores nearby and 2 are particularly almost just next to the building with less than a hubdred steps walk i bet. 4) Many eatery around the area too, if ypu are willing to walk down for 10 to 15mins to shinbashi direction, it's a full street of resturants and drinking places run until late. 5) We rented a car for a few days for our driving trip. The hotel offers 24 hrs parking (no hourly rate option although they have the price, guess that hourly price is for dine in customers) for arpund 2500 yen but there are a few open public carpark just outside the hotel where you can park your car for just 500 yen as maximum between 1900 to 0800 ( its perfect for us as we go back late n go out early everyday) The premise: 1) Not the newest but very well maintained, clean and neat 2) It's extremely close to Tokyo tower, you can take close shot of it when you walk back to hotel. We stayed in even number room which is not facing Tokyo tower side so i bet the Odd number rooms would be able to see it from their window😉 3) There's free nespresso coffee machine at check in lobby, we fueled ourselves with it every morning before we start our joruney of the day 4) Rooms are small but very well design with good utilisation of spaces 5) We booked a 3 bedder room with bunk beds , my kid loves it and got very excited running up and down every night. The bed is with mostly round cornors which is a nice detail that a mom who travel with kid wpuld appriciate 6) Although the rooms are small but they have a reading room on each floor where you can have some private quiet time for yourself if you need so, and the lobby has plenty of comfortable setting where you can bring your computer to work or i think its a great idea when we saw a group of friends drinking there too. Improvement recommendation: 1) There are 3 shelves in the bathroom , top is for brushing cups, it's better to add something at the edge or a tray to avoid falling of cup as when it's wet , it's easy to slide down. I broke one 😅 as im not tall and the cups were one next to each other, so it's quite easy to have accident breaking it 2) The hotel website can add transportation to and from the 2 airports and other popular destinations as the location is really not bad. It's very helpful for those who are looking at the hotel to make up their mind. 3) The website can also show some reference for taxi cost going to nearby popular tourist destinations for reference of distance , that makes the hotel a more tourist friendly option. Conclusion: I would recommend the hotel and stay there again.

Environment: The hotel is quite atmospheric, the lobby is spacious and bright, and there are not many tourists. The front desk is very friendly and speaks English. I stayed for five nights and didn't hear the voice of the Chinese people. The overall surrounding environment is very quiet. Room: Two large and medium-sized medium twin rooms, children 8 years old, no problem, the room is relatively spacious. The bathroom is small, but there is still a step that is not low, and the elderly are not very convenient. It is very convenient to have a small refrigerator. Breakfast is not bad, people have not been much, the environment is good on the first floor. Shopping around: The hotel is not a lively area of interest downstairs. In the morning, you can feel the rush and silence of the office workers. Go to the JR line for seven or eight minutes and have a family supermarket, Alipay settlement. This review will be hard to write, it's a very nice hotel but I also find it hard to recommend to tourists. Room: The Tokyo Tower view room is very pretty at night. The bed is comfy. I don't like having the closet on the opposite end of the sleeping area though, I find that very inconvenient when packing/getting ready. And for a hotel that opened in 2016, that TV is tiny and needs to be larger. The Aesop products are nice, and come in big bottles with pumps (which I prefer over tiny bottles). They also have the coolest slippers! Service: Concierge helped me reserve dinner, and had confirmation letter ready at check-in. Check-in/out was fast and easy. They offer free HH in lounge, I was pleasantly surprised to find live performance! Food offering during HH is pretty basic, but that's ok because I'd rather be eating in the city anyways. Evening turndown service could be enhanced a bit, may need to borrow a page from your colleagues at Grand Hyatt ;) Location: This is the one thing that truly sucks about this place for tourists. Toranomon Hills is a very business-heavy area, a ghost town after 6 p.m. There's no department stores, no shopping, only two convenience stores nearby, barely any dining options after 9 p.m. To do anything you'll need to get on a subway/taxi from hotel. The walk to the subway station is frankly a little longer than I like, but it's indoor underground which is nice for cold and rainy days. Overall, I would recommend a stay here if you're on a work trip and your office is in the area. Or you just have to check this place off your bucket list because of its design or the room with Tokyo Tower view. As a typical tourist in Tokyo who values convenience and accessibility to restaurants and shopping, I probably won't be back. It's a shame because this place has so much potential if it was in a better area, but I guess you can't have it all!

From Akabane Bridge Station, there are two exits that are relatively close, one needs to cross the road, the other does not need. I saw a whole family and walked less than 50 meters in the path next to the whole family. The entrance is relatively small. The elevator is opened when the door is opened. The first time you go to the elevator, you can’t use it yourself. There is a call on the wall on the left. Press the bell next to it and the landlord will let you go to the fifth floor to check in. It’s not processed in advance, but you can store your luggage for an extra 200 yen. When you apply, you will be given the door code for the floor, the code for the elevator, the way to enter the back door and some precautions. Boys and girls are stratified. It will not feel crowded when there are not many people. I think it depends on the guests staying. The guests I met when I was staying were very attentive and hardly affected. The location is great, very close to Azabujuban, Toshiba Park in Tokyo. Remember to look for barrier-free elevators if you bring luggage at the subway station! ! Otherwise it is really possible to despair...

Crazy! Then on separate occasions we went to the lobby bar. We requested to sit by the window and the waiter there said “it is reserved” on every occasion. In the end of course the sofa by the window was empty (and on one occasion it was empty till the bar was closed). I got annoyed and asked for the restaurant manager and I said “if you need a minimum spending just say so, why you have to put us at the bar table?” She said she would look into it and of course no one has yet to give us a good reason why is it the case. And service at the bar was appalling and to a certain extent I would even use “racist” to put it. As a Titanium with Marriot Bonvoy and a Globalist with World of Hyatt, I must say I made a terrible mistake staying at Tokyo Edition. I am sure I would receive better treatment and a better holiday experience if I stay at Andaz Tokyo which is across the street!

Tokyo Tower
We stayed for 4 nights at this hotel. The location of the hotel was perfect as it was right next to the Tokyo tower so the view was beautiful at night. The hotel is also less than 10 minutes away from 2 metro stations so travelling around the city was convenient. The room size was big so we slept comfortably as a family of 3. The toilet was also big with a modern set-up which we liked - will definitely stay here again.
