Book and Bed Tokyo Shinjuku

Shinjuku/Nakano Tokyo|0.06km from Seibu-Shinjuku Station
It was the worst. I finished the payment procedure on the website the previous month and received multiple confirmation emails for accommodation reservations with breakfast. It is okay to tell the name that check-in can be 9 pm in the daytime and call, so when I go to 9 pm, I have no name on the guest list. If that shouldn't be the case, I showed all the driver's license for identity verification, reservation confirmation emails, and records of the dedicated site on the spot, but ”I can't stay because it's full today” and ”Because of Airhost of the reservation system” One point. I was able to travel from rural areas to Tokyo, and it was the worst result of being kicked out in the middle of the night amid the bad weather when the typhoon approached. When I tell you that I'm already paying my credit card, I'm saying, ”Is it a day use mistake?” The check-in and check-out dates are definitely written on the email presented and the confirmation page of the reservation site, and even though it says breakfast is included (there are multiple evidence for confirmation of the reservation in front of you) Full So I was honestly surprised that I couldn't stay. It can't be helped to complain to the receptionist, and it's full, so if you force it, you'll have to kick someone out in bad weather, so if you give up and ask about the location where you can stay nearby, It is said that there is an APA hotel opposite, and when I go, the APA hotel is closed for a long time. The cheerful club at the west exit of Shinjuku Station, which another receptionist told me, was miraculously vacant, so it was quite a bit, but this terrible experience is the first level in my life. The next day, I emailed the above situation and told them that I wanted my credit card payment to be invalidated, but I still haven't heard from them about apology or payment processing. In that situation, I received an email urging TripAdviser to post my impressions, ”How was your stay?” I was thinking that I would refrain from publishing it if I had a proper contact, but I will write it as a warning so that no one has the same feelings. It's horrible to think that my child will have the same experience.

HOTEL GROOVE SHINJUKU, A PARKROYAL Hotel

Shinjuku/Nakano Tokyo|0.1km from Seibu-Shinjuku Station
Getting there Getting to the hotel from narita airport, you can take the keisei skyliner to change at Nippori at the Yamamote line to change and stop at Takanobaba and change to another train Seibu Shinjuku station. It will be a few minutes walk to the hotel from there. Very convenient. To go back to the airport, book yourself an express bus directly at the lobby entrance (QR code is there) with a screen on the departure timing to various airports so you don’t have to lug your luggage. Stay Luxurious hotel right smack in the middle of all the action, eateries, shopping, etc. I stayed for 7 nights at the premier suite which I believe had one of the best views around this area. Room is spacious for Japanese standards. And the 2 toilets and 2 bath is something we really appreciate. Amenities are all given, and you have everything in the room, including a Marshall Bluetooth speaker. Staff are friendly and eager to help during check in etc. I did not have much chance to interact with them since I also did not book one with breakfast. One tip is the enter the hotel through Starbucks directly downstairs, instead of going one round to enter the lobby. Just cut through Starbucks and go down the stairs immediately and make a left turn to the lobby. Afterthoughts Good and new hotel in an excellent location. Some things will need to be improved, out of the 7 nights, I only request for rooms to be cleared twice. The first time, housekeeping forgot to refill my towels after removing them, forgot to refill our drinking waters and even left a dirty tshirt in my toilet that don’t belong to me. I believe that could be used by them to clean the toilet, else no reasons someone’s dirty tshirt is found and left in my toilet. Should have definitely used a cleaner rag to clean up the toilet. I did not crate a fuss about it but just took the tshirt out of the room since it is a new hotel that just opened for one week and all staff are new too. But this should not happen next time again, especially since this is a suite booking. P/S check out Ichiran 3 mins walk away and the 24 hours Don Quixote too.

Hotel Villa Fontaine Tokyo-Shinjuku

Shinjuku/Nakano Tokyo|0.32km from Seibu-Shinjuku Station
A reasonably priced hotel in Shinjuku about 15-20 minutes walk from the Shinjuku Train Station. You can get to this train station via the Narita Express on your way from or to the Narita airport. It is difficult to find the first time, basically use the East Exit and head North from the Shinjuku Train Station. You need to walk around the Cinema complex (use the West side as the East side is a tad more seedy at night). The staff were very helpful and polite. They helped with maps and suggestions of places/areas to visit. The twin room we had (Room 1004 on the 10th floor) had a view and the biggest shower/bath room that I have ever seen in Japan. The room had a bright neon pink sign ”Never ending journey” in the room on the wall for some reason (it can be turned off but just well...so Japan). The room was clean, modern and though relatively small was nice and comfortable. The hotel in general looked quite new. The hotel is close to the Shinjuku neon night life which has to be seen to be believed (walk back towards the station). So many bright neon signs and young people around enjoying themselves. The area of Shinjuku takes on a different life at night. You can walk to the Golden Gai area (full of small bars) which is apparently an attraction. We saw the area during the day when mostly everything was closed (there are lots of CCTV cameras and warnings about not fighting).

Hotel opened less than a year ago. Everything is new and the design is very modern. Location is in the middle of Shinjuku so it was close to everything. The hotel staff was very attentive and the connection between the lobby (on the 18th floor) to the concierge in the ground floor was always in sync. Breakfast at the main hotel had a great view for a nice clear day but selection is limited. They have a second buffet in their neighbour hotel (17th floor) that has more selection. I would not really recommend this hotel for younger kids due to its design but overall great hotel.

Nice hotel, conveniently located. The room is fitted with a lot of essentials, e.g. Cotton wool with a hair band, charging adaptor, very clean and neat. We totally enjoyed our stay there.

Hotel is not difficult to find but it’s not near train station. The area here is a bit messy with tons of human traffic like tourists and locals. I don’t like the environment here as the crowd at night here seems a bit rowdy with many locals round n old here looking for drinks and entertainment. Early in the morning, like 7am, you will see drunk people stumbling out of clubs, vomiting and even pee on the streets! Yes it’s that messy. Overall I won’t stay here again. Too crowded but young people may like the place for its variety of food n drinks places. Hotel staff is friendly n room is decent size not too small.

Location : Shinjuku NOT recommend that if the hotel management hasn’t taken any action to an old rude impatient so called receptionist Been in Tokyo for 5 days and I have noticed that Tokyo is the best customer service providing country around the world. However, I had bad experience in dealing with an old, impatient and aggressive receptionist ruined my recognization to Japan which is the best customer service providing one. We checked in around mid night and the young receptionist is really nice and friendly. The next morning, we met with that old receptionist guy and did extend for another day. We left the room after dropping our luggages and waiting the elevator to go down.At that time, he knocked the door which is near with elevator and asked us to leave the key. The keypoint is here. The way he asked the key is very rude and he treated us that we are like a poor and beggar. We paid money to stay there. So, he should give respect to every customer who stay at his hostel. I have noticed that the similar feedback in a few days and wonder why management didn’t take any action or give him a warning (Or may be he might be a relatives of owner 😏) Overall, if you have heavy luggage, are tired and didn’t want to face those bossy receptionist, pls try to choose other hostel.

Guide for Travelling in Tokyo

Tokyo: Where Tradition Meets Futurism

Tokyo, Japan's bustling capital, is a fascinating city where the past coexists with the future. A hub of innovation, fashion, and gastronomy, Tokyo combines ultramodern architecture with centuries-old temples and shrines. It's an urban jungle that pulsates with energy, offering endless discoveries for visitors.

Journeying to Tokyo

Tokyo is served by two airports: Narita International Airport, handling the majority of international flights, and Haneda Airport, mostly for domestic flights and some international routes. The city has an extensive and efficient public transportation system, with its subway and train lines being the most convenient ways to travel.

The official currency is the Japanese Yen (JPY), and the main language is Japanese. English is not widely spoken, but signs in English are common in tourist areas. Japan's visa policy varies by nationality, so it's advised to check your requirements before traveling.

Tokyo's Must-Visit Attractions

Begin your Tokyo adventure in Asakusa, where the historic Senso-ji Temple resides. Experience the neon-lit chaos of Shibuya Crossing and the fashion-forward streets of Harajuku. Explore the high-tech district of Akihabara, the haven for anime and electronics.

Weather & Best Time to Visit Tokyo

Tokyo experiences a humid subtropical climate with four distinct seasons. Summers can be hot and humid, while winters are generally mild with occasional snowfall. The best times to visit are spring (March to May) for cherry blossom season and autumn (September to November) for the vibrant fall foliage. Layered clothing is recommended to adapt to changing temperatures in Tokyo.
