The hotel is very new and clean, the staff is very nice and polite. We asked for the luggages reserve and they help us to keep it with signs that allowed us to identify ours luggage, more importantly the staff serve us with water right away we get into the entrance in the hot summer weather, it was touching and wonderful. The cafe outside is warm and sweet, I still miss the lemon squash. One little reminder is that the environment is relatively small but cozy. Though after closing the hotel door I won’t hear the noise from outside but the stairs hallway would give me a little bit scary feature as I was alone. In conclusion, it’s still an amazing experience.

The hotel is spotless clean, perfectly situated and well staffed. Yes the rooms are small but what else do you expect in Tokyo. They are clean, comfortable and there are plenty of little extra’s available. Breakfast is an eclectic mix, coffee available after 3pm and a neat selection of toiletries can be chosen everyday. Plus just out on the main road is one of the best ramen places around!

The location of this hotel is very good. Few min walk from train station that goes everywhere. But what we find funny was how the hotel don’t provide daily house keeping. They only provide limited house keeping with a charge of 1500yen a day. The staff is really nice but they have very very minimal English ability, however they still try their best to answer your questions. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

I have stayed in the hotel for the fourth time in Tokyo and finally changed from three years ago to basically become a tourist-oriented hotel. It may be that the Olympic hotel is not enough. The hotel is located at Exit 1b of Ikebukuro West. Go up the stairs and turn right into the path. I went to Japan for nearly 20 days a month. I like the cleanliness of this hotel. The reception is warm and thoughtful. The size of the room is acceptable. It is not depressed. It is very comfortable. The disadvantage is that there will be Japanese time reminders on the floor every morning. There is no room after a few minutes. Another point is that Japanese hotels often have no rooms on Fridays and Saturdays. They need to move away and store their luggage for 2,000 yen a day. It is not very cost-effective. Because there is no room to go to another hotel on Friday and Saturday, I will come back on Sunday, so the luggage charge is understandable but not consistent. Others are very satisfied, I will choose this hotel next time if I go to Tokyo.

I stayed for 7 nights on way to see family in OZ from the UK, my reason for choosing Sakura Ikebukuro was that I was stopping off to see my daughter who is doing a year at nearby Rikkyo University. The first thing is to say that there were very helpful reception staff who spoke good English. It's on a reasonably quiet street (for Tokyo). I stayed in a single room, there was a sign in the lobby that no visitors are allowed in rooms. I have no experience of Japanese hotels and was told they are generally very small, but this was fine, the bed was probably a small double, so generous for one. There was no cupboard space but some hooks on the wall to hang clothes, but that wasn't an issue for me. Below the window was a large shelf (with TV that I didn't use) and sockets to recharge my devices. There was an ensuite and the shower was over a small bath but plenty of hot water and good pressure. I took the breakfast option in the cafe across the road that was cheap but basic, thick white toast with butter and jam and coffee. You could buy yourself an extra boiled egg if you wanted one. I think my rating overall was a 4.5 but as that's not an option I've gone for the full 5 on the basis of how friendly and helpful the staff were. Overall good value for money for the single traveller.

The large communal bath sauna on the top floor has just been renovated to 21/12 and is beautiful and well cleaned. It's wide and relaxing. I feel that I'm putting my strength into the hotel. You can get a bottle of water for free. There is an outlet and a light switch at the bedside. The corridors on each floor are also bright and clean. The desk is large enough for PC work. It seems that the water field in the room has been renovated recently. The water pressure in the shower is very strong. ◯ Bad points The staff is low in terms of language. The room has been renewed, such as wallpaper, and the smell of years is soaked. Some women may not be good at it. The wallpaper is a little dirty, but there are some things that stand out. The basement of the building is a sex shop. The temperature of the dry sauna is low, so it is not popular, and there is a line in the steam sauna. Overall, I think that cospa is very good if you are traveling for those who value savings, just sleeping, and staying while staying in the sauna. It is recommended to bring an air freshener. I would like you to install an air purifier.

I stayed at the Ohedo for a single night. The hotel is very good for a short stay. The rooms are pretty small but it’s understandable since its location is in Tokyo. The staff are quite friendly. They also offer breakfast in the morning. You can ask for seconds on coffee, bread (western breakfast), rice (eastern breakfast). It was delicious and good quality. Overall the property is no frills and straight forward. However, it is clean, quiet and convenient. Ikebukuro train station is very near. There are also many restaurants and shops in close proximity.

Great hotel for an afforable price. I booked a small room which had everything you need. Good WiFi connection. The room was super clean and was cleaned thoroughly every day. The location is great as well, many convenience stores and various restaurants located right next to the hotel. Only 7-10 walking minutes away from the closest metro station, yamanote line and the bustling Ikebukuro center. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying at New Star Ikebukuro Hotel ☺️

Very close to the station, you can find it by navigating. The living is very comfortable and the room is very clean and beautiful. This accommodation is every terms. - Price: is really lower when compared the facilities in the house - Hotel Convenience: really clean!
