Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo offers a luxurious and comfortable stay in the heart of Japan's bustling capital. Boasting a prime location in Shinjuku, this hotel provides easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment. Also, it is walking distance to various lines making traveling easier. The hotel is 34 storey high. The panoramic views from higher floors with the huge window, especially overlooking the iconic Mount Fuji from a distance makes it a memorable stay. There are also dining places at Keio Plaza Hotel offering Japanese, international, and fusion cuisine. There is also a convenience store at level 2 that close at 2am for those who want to get some small bites, snacks or drinks. It is huge and because it’s located in the hotel, shelves are pretty filled up. The hotel's facilities, include a well-equipped fitness center and a relaxing pool (didn’t get to try as it is winter). The attention to cleanliness and maintenance throughout the property adds to the sense of comfort and well-being. There is also 2 in 1 washing machine with dryer at L18 at the south tower for usage starting from 500yen, depending on what the features you would like it to be, best of all, it comes with detergent. It was the worst. I finished the payment procedure on the website the previous month and received multiple confirmation emails for accommodation reservations with breakfast. It is okay to tell the name that check-in can be 9 pm in the daytime and call, so when I go to 9 pm, I have no name on the guest list. If that shouldn't be the case, I showed all the driver's license for identity verification, reservation confirmation emails, and records of the dedicated site on the spot, but ”I can't stay because it's full today” and ”Because of Airhost of the reservation system” One point. I was able to travel from rural areas to Tokyo, and it was the worst result of being kicked out in the middle of the night amid the bad weather when the typhoon approached. When I tell you that I'm already paying my credit card, I'm saying, ”Is it a day use mistake?” The check-in and check-out dates are definitely written on the email presented and the confirmation page of the reservation site, and even though it says breakfast is included (there are multiple evidence for confirmation of the reservation in front of you) Full So I was honestly surprised that I couldn't stay. It can't be helped to complain to the receptionist, and it's full, so if you force it, you'll have to kick someone out in bad weather, so if you give up and ask about the location where you can stay nearby, It is said that there is an APA hotel opposite, and when I go, the APA hotel is closed for a long time. The cheerful club at the west exit of Shinjuku Station, which another receptionist told me, was miraculously vacant, so it was quite a bit, but this terrible experience is the first level in my life. The next day, I emailed the above situation and told them that I wanted my credit card payment to be invalidated, but I still haven't heard from them about apology or payment processing. In that situation, I received an email urging TripAdviser to post my impressions, ”How was your stay?” I was thinking that I would refrain from publishing it if I had a proper contact, but I will write it as a warning so that no one has the same feelings. It's horrible to think that my child will have the same experience.

HOTEL GROOVE SHINJUKU, A PARKROYAL Hotel

Shinjuku/Nakano Tokyo|0.38km from Moa 4th St
Getting there Getting to the hotel from narita airport, you can take the keisei skyliner to change at Nippori at the Yamamote line to change and stop at Takanobaba and change to another train Seibu Shinjuku station. It will be a few minutes walk to the hotel from there. Very convenient. To go back to the airport, book yourself an express bus directly at the lobby entrance (QR code is there) with a screen on the departure timing to various airports so you don’t have to lug your luggage. Stay Luxurious hotel right smack in the middle of all the action, eateries, shopping, etc. I stayed for 7 nights at the premier suite which I believe had one of the best views around this area. Room is spacious for Japanese standards. And the 2 toilets and 2 bath is something we really appreciate. Amenities are all given, and you have everything in the room, including a Marshall Bluetooth speaker. Staff are friendly and eager to help during check in etc. I did not have much chance to interact with them since I also did not book one with breakfast. One tip is the enter the hotel through Starbucks directly downstairs, instead of going one round to enter the lobby. Just cut through Starbucks and go down the stairs immediately and make a left turn to the lobby. Afterthoughts Good and new hotel in an excellent location. Some things will need to be improved, out of the 7 nights, I only request for rooms to be cleared twice. The first time, housekeeping forgot to refill my towels after removing them, forgot to refill our drinking waters and even left a dirty tshirt in my toilet that don’t belong to me. I believe that could be used by them to clean the toilet, else no reasons someone’s dirty tshirt is found and left in my toilet. Should have definitely used a cleaner rag to clean up the toilet. I did not crate a fuss about it but just took the tshirt out of the room since it is a new hotel that just opened for one week and all staff are new too. But this should not happen next time again, especially since this is a suite booking. P/S check out Ichiran 3 mins walk away and the 24 hours Don Quixote too.

After our first night in a Capsule Hotel we relocated here for the rest of our few days in Tokyo. We first researched the area we wanted to be in and then looked for a reasonably priced place to stay in that area - which is how we found this hotel. It was a bit quirky but totally suited our needs. Also the WiFi was good and the staff at the front desk were very sweet. We spent most of our time in Tokyo out exploring and this was a good base to do that from.

Location : Shinjuku NOT recommend that if the hotel management hasn’t taken any action to an old rude impatient so called receptionist Been in Tokyo for 5 days and I have noticed that Tokyo is the best customer service providing country around the world. However, I had bad experience in dealing with an old, impatient and aggressive receptionist ruined my recognization to Japan which is the best customer service providing one. We checked in around mid night and the young receptionist is really nice and friendly. The next morning, we met with that old receptionist guy and did extend for another day. We left the room after dropping our luggages and waiting the elevator to go down.At that time, he knocked the door which is near with elevator and asked us to leave the key. The keypoint is here. The way he asked the key is very rude and he treated us that we are like a poor and beggar. We paid money to stay there. So, he should give respect to every customer who stay at his hostel. I have noticed that the similar feedback in a few days and wonder why management didn’t take any action or give him a warning (Or may be he might be a relatives of owner 😏) Overall, if you have heavy luggage, are tired and didn’t want to face those bossy receptionist, pls try to choose other hostel.

Great value for money in a good location near everywhere in Tokyo. The English-speaking staff provided great service and always greeted me with a smile. Remember you are booking a budget hotel and with that these are the amenities included: -Sanitation stations -Bath and sauna amenities available (I'm not sure for female patrons) -Lockers that fit hand carry luggage provided -Luggage check-in (can be made more secure/organized) -Smoking area -Vending machines for food and snacks -Near restaurants and convenience stores (so you can always eat out) -Your capsule beddings will be clean and organized (if you're accustomed to sleeping with an aircon, you'll be sensitive to the capsule's controlled temperature) I only stayed for a night to try the experience. I hope they get more foreign customers through this review.

A hotel in the middle of a busy nightlife city. Walking distance from the main train station. Room a bit small by my standard but is clean. Plently of food around the hotel area. See photos attached.

Nice hotel, conveniently located. The room is fitted with a lot of essentials, e.g. Cotton wool with a hair band, charging adaptor, very clean and neat. We totally enjoyed our stay there.

Hotel is not difficult to find but it’s not near train station. The area here is a bit messy with tons of human traffic like tourists and locals. I don’t like the environment here as the crowd at night here seems a bit rowdy with many locals round n old here looking for drinks and entertainment. Early in the morning, like 7am, you will see drunk people stumbling out of clubs, vomiting and even pee on the streets! Yes it’s that messy. Overall I won’t stay here again. Too crowded but young people may like the place for its variety of food n drinks places. Hotel staff is friendly n room is decent size not too small.
