Stayed a few days after opening a year ago. 2019/10/4 It was a new hotel that was newly opened and was fresh without staying at a hotel that had not been opened so far at that time. It is a little walk from mukaihara station of Ikebukuro station and Arakawa line, but it is convenient because you can walk from the hotel to sunshine city. This 14-story hotel has a coin laundry (3 washing machines below and 3 dryers above) and a beverage vending machine, but there is no large communal bath. Light meals (bread and drinks) are sold at the cafe on the first floor in the morning. The elevator is arranged face-to-face in two interlocking units, made by a new and beautiful Mitsubishi. When boarding from the 1st floor, hold the card key and press the ↑ button while blinking. The interior of the guest room was simple and beautiful because it was just opened. Wi-Fi has a common ID and individual items for each guest room. Both are displayed on the TV screen, but individual objects are displayed on the screen of the mirroring explanation and are difficult to understand. (I tried mirroring, but I couldn't do it after all) Because there is an existing hotel ”Hotel Wing International Ikebukuro” (1989/11 Completion →2000/8 Opening) in the neighborhood that does not have ”select”, I don't think there are many, but be careful of the mistakes. If you walk straight from Mukaihara Station on the Arakawa Line, you will see the hotel first. It is only a little far away, but it is within walking distance from Higashi Ikebukuro 4-chome station of the same Arakawa line and Higashi Ikebukuro station of Yurakucho line.

After staying here for more than ten days, I thought it was pretty good. I slept soundly every night and the bed was very comfortable. Ordinary people can't afford big hotels, so small hotels like this are pretty good. Cleanliness is the most important thing, and the basic facilities are complete and easy to use. There are several service staff. I met a Chinese guy, an Indian guy, and a white girl. They were all friendly and could communicate in Japanese and English. The only Japanese girl was almost indifferent to people who didn't speak Japanese. Speak English. The location is very good, a few steps north of the east exit of Ikebukuro Station, but it was a bit difficult to find it at first because it was in a small alley. There are two FamilyMart and one 711 near the hotel, which is very convenient for buying breakfast, daily necessities, snacks and more. There are many restaurants and izakayas nearby, all of which are Japanese-style. As long as you are not timid, go and eat there. If you want to eat Chinese food or chain restaurants, walk a few steps to the Ichibukuro west exit area. If you want to eat better, go to Tobu Seibu.

We had a pleasant holiday in Ikebukuro WING. Although at first we were taken aback by the size of the room (we went to Tokyo for the first time), we got used to it at the end. The staff and the convenient location make up for the size. Walking distance from Ikebukuro Yamanote Line Station 10-15. There is a convenience store next to the hotel. Ikebukuro itself is very lively, close to the station, there is a huge Saiwu shopping mall, close to many eating and entertainment venues. However, the hotel is in a quiet alley, so there is no noise interference. A minute walk from the old Arakawa line. WIFI signal was weak in our room but the staff at the front desk promptly agreed to change us to a different suite. To our surprise, the staff had moved all the luggage and things to the new room. We definitely recommend this hotel to others. We didn't have a free breakfast for our room rate. All in all a good experience.

Great hotel for an afforable price. I booked a small room which had everything you need. Good WiFi connection. The room was super clean and was cleaned thoroughly every day. The location is great as well, many convenience stores and various restaurants located right next to the hotel. Only 7-10 walking minutes away from the closest metro station, yamanote line and the bustling Ikebukuro center. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying at New Star Ikebukuro Hotel ☺️

Itabashi Center Hotel is along the highway, across from Itabashi Kuyakushomae Station (Mito line), and a half mile walk from Oyama Station (Tobu Tojo line). I chose this hotel because it is near Oyama, an area I lived part-time in during the early 1990s. So I came back to see it thirty years later. The hotel is a typical understated business hotel. Check in was easy and my room on the fourth floor is fine. It’s not large and is most comfortable for solo travelers. The location is near the highway and there is a bit of noise, but I slept well and didn’t notice it. The view out my window is the wall of the neighboring building. Perfect because it is quieter than those that may be fronting the highway. Shower is warm, bed is comfortable, and my floor is quiet. And the cost is quite reasonable for Tokyo. Visitors to Japan may prefer to stay in the more touristy areas, but for people who know their way around Tokyo, this is an inexpensive, yet comfortable place to stay for business in the area beyond Ikebukuro. I enjoyed my stay.

マダニ大量発生していました。 1.2匹なら自分で駆除しましたが。 よく見ると 壁をお散歩しているマダニ、 私のお気に入りのバッグや キャップに侵入するマダニ、 寝ようとしたらベッドを とことこ歩いているマダニ、 布団の中からポロっと落ちてくるマダニ。 数えきれないほど潰しました。 潰した時に、血が出たのでおそらく前の宿泊者が噛まれているようです。 全額返金してもらいましたし、 キャップとバッグは弁償して貰う予定です。 フロントの女性は誠心誠意謝罪してくれましたが、責任者の方はヘラヘラした印象で、 「マダニって見えるんですか？笑」と。 ホテル業界なのに、マダニの見た目を知らないのかと驚き怒りがこみあげました。 マダニの見た目や生態を知らないとしたら業界の人なのに無知過ぎますし、そんなわけないはずなので、知っているのにわざと存在を知らないふりをして初めて出現したかのように話しているのかなとも思いました。 私自身がサービス業界の管理職をしているのですが、こんな対応するか…？と思いました…。 ゴキブリやクモなら 害はないので気にしませんが、 マダニは感染症になる確率がとても多い害虫です。 噛まれていたら、感染症になっていたと思います。もしくはこれから症状が出るかもしれません。恐怖で1日を過ごします。 綺麗なビジネスホテルなのに 最悪でした。

I stayed at the Ohedo for a single night. The hotel is very good for a short stay. The rooms are pretty small but it’s understandable since its location is in Tokyo. The staff are quite friendly. They also offer breakfast in the morning. You can ask for seconds on coffee, bread (western breakfast), rice (eastern breakfast). It was delicious and good quality. Overall the property is no frills and straight forward. However, it is clean, quiet and convenient. Ikebukuro train station is very near. There are also many restaurants and shops in close proximity.
