During my stay, I encountered two issues:
1. The agent provided incorrect breakfast information to Trip.com, leading to the hotel only offering vouchers (715 yen/each) for a simple, non-filling set meal at the Denny's restaurant across the river upon check-in. Of course, I could pay extra for more food. On the third day, the restaurant informed me that the vouchers could be combined. Due to this discrepancy (I had booked a buffet breakfast), Trip.com intervened to offer reassurance and compensation. Their service was quick, coordinating with all parties, and the outcome was satisfactory.
2. The bathroom in our initial room had a strong mildew smell. The front desk staff inspected it and attributed it to a drain issue, but promptly moved us to a different room. Problem solved.
The hotel's location is very convenient, with the JR station just across a bridge. The windows are also very soundproof; you can't hear the trains passing by from the room. Rooms on the east side offer views of the Tokyo Skytree.
