Dormy Inn Premium Ginza Natural Hot Spring

Traveling with kids, I always prefer hot spring hotels, and this time in Tokyo, I stuck with a hot spring hotel again! It was great – convenient transportation, nice rooms, and the breakfast was delicious, definitely worth a shout-out.

This hotel is located in Ginza, making it very convenient for transportation, shopping, and dining. It's a business-style hotel, and while the room is a bit small, it's perfectly adequate for a single business traveler. A real highlight is the hot spring on the basement floor, and the supper and breakfast on the second floor are excellent.

The breakfast was delicious, and the bathhouse was great too. The room was spacious and very clean! They even offered ramen as a late-night snack until 11:30 PM.

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at in Japan. There were noticeable hairs on several towels, which the cleaning staff somehow missed. There were also hairs on the pillows, and the towels were yellowed from washing. The hygiene conditions are truly appalling. I called the front desk to ask them to come and inspect the room, and the young woman at the front desk said she didn't understand English. She promised to come but never showed up, even after half an hour. I called the front desk again, and this time a man answered. He brought a few towels, but offered no apology and refused to let me check out. The next day, I spoke with the manager, who only offered a refund for one night with no further compensation. Avoid this place at all costs!
