remm Akihabara

Location is great as you will be right next to Akihabara Station JR lines, Metro will still have to walk a little bit. For Amenities, you will have to take them from the table near the front desk as they don’t replace in your room for you everyday. Cleanliness is great as they will clean your room everyday though you can opt out. Service is great as they received a package for me and kept it till I asked for it.

The hotel itself is pretty standard, clean, efficient and relatively comfortable. The staff were polite and the check in/out process was easy. The real winner here is the location. Literally on the same block as the trains and subway, with plenty of restaurants, convenience store etc and smack right in the middle of Akihabara’s iconic street, it does not get much better than this. Highly recommended.

Room is small, but it is to be expected. Location is amazing it is located right on the akihabara, you can get pretty much everywhere from the akihabara station directly.

Was the best hotel we stayed at on our whole japan trip highly reccomend only downside was the laundry units wouldn't dry clothes so u would have to dry it again other then that service was great everything else was perfect

This is my second time staying at REMM AKIHABARA and I don't think I'll ever be staying at any other hotel in Akihabara. First of all, you're within close proximity to Akihabara train station. Lawson is right downstairs and there is a FamilyMart across the road. The mall where the hotel is located in has GU (Uniqlo's sister brand which is much cheaper) and Muji on the lower floors. Crossing the streets brings you to Yodabashi Akihabara, an extremely large department store that also has Dasio and Seria, both which carry everyday items at low prices. Next to Yodabashi Akihabara is a food street with a ramen place I always frequent and tons of pastries stores. Don Quijote is within walking distance as well. Secondly, if you're a diehard anime fan like me, turning opposite of Yodabashi Akihabara will bring you to Akihabara electric town. You can find plenty of anime merchandise everywhere you go. For preloved/secondhand merch (merch that was previously owned by someone), go to Kbooks, Lashinbang or Surugaya. For official & brand new merch, go to Kotobukiya and Animate. All of these stores are within walking distance from the hotel. There are also other stores carrying anime merch, but this are the places I usually frequent. Lastly, the hotel itself is always clean and the staff are extremely friendly. Never had any bad encounters. I think the most important thing that even though there is no bathtub, the shower has a stool and the hotel room has a massage chair. It may not seem like much but trust me, after you've clocked in 15k+ steps, these two are lifesavers for sore legs. Security is also good as the front desk is manned throughout the night and you need a keycard to access the floors. No worries at all for a female solo traveller like me.
