The location is very good, a few steps north of the east exit of Ikebukuro Station, but it was a bit difficult to find it at first because it was in a small alley. There are two FamilyMart and one 711 near the hotel, which is very convenient for buying breakfast, daily necessities, snacks and more. There are many restaurants and izakayas nearby, all of which are Japanese-style. As long as you are not timid, go and eat there. If you want to eat Chinese food or chain restaurants, walk a few steps to the Ichibukuro west exit area. If you want to eat better, go to Tobu Seibu.
