Via Inn Shinjuku

Convenient to city and food! Hotel was clean. Checking in and out was cumbersome, as was told to check in every single day for 3 days due to their system. Hotel staff also did not took the initiative to inform us through room call on our baggage arrival (through Takyubin which was delivered late), despite several reminders to them. This was crucial leading up to our returning flight home.

This is a nice little hotel that is within walking distance to the metro and has several convenience stores and a grocery beside it. It's also possible to walk from Shinjuku station. Overall the service is lovely and the room is small but well designed. I would recommend this hotel for sure.

Room layout looks slightly different from the picture shown but overall still comfortable stay. The room is not big but within expectation since its the popular area. Location is good for us, a lot of restaurants & shops nearby which operates till late. There are Lawson, Family Mart and 7-11 nearby which are 2-5 mins walking distance away and has variety of nice snacks which is great for late sleeper like us. The hotel is about 15 mins walk away from Shinjuku Station but there is also option to take another stop from Shinjuku to Shinjuku-sanchome Station which shorten the walking distance to 7mins. Reception service is great as well. Japan are quite strict with the check-in time, we reach about 10am and left our luggage there before we head out to explore but unfortunately my friend was very sick after lunch and we tried to request for early check-in and they accommodated to our request. Thumbs up overall!

Room is clean and slightly spacious. Hotel 5 mins away from walking to nearest Shinjuku station entrance. Will definitely book again should I visit Tokyo in the future.

We booked this hotel because it is about 10 min walk to Shinjuku downtown bars and Game Centers, a 3 min walk to Shinjuku 3 chome station exit and 15 min walk to Shinjuku main station for JR and Odakyu line trains. So very convenient if you are traveling around the city or into another areas. The room itself was a standard Japanese chain hotel, style / sized room. They provided some nice amenities in the lobby, by the elevators before heading up to your room. The drip coffee is surprisingly good. About 4 floors have washing/drying machines and you can check in your room’s TV which ones are in use & how much time remains before it’s free and which are already empty & available for use. Room itself is standard Japanese chain hotel, small but efficiently laid out.

The location of the hotel is nice! It is close to the shinjuku DT area!!! The room is clean and the staffs are so helpful!

I think overall it is great, but it is a little far away from the 新宿車站. But if you want to experience the *** culture in 新宿二丁目, I think it is a great choice for you, it only needs like 5 minutes to walk there.
