Hotel Risveglio Akasaka(1 December 2025 10th Anniversary) Reviews

I came spontaneously to Akasaka to visit the temple and found this nice hotel for one night. The personal at the desk was very nice friendly and took time to explain the facility. The room was spacious for Tokyo and very clean and modern. I will definitely recommend it and I come back again .

The room is slighty small but it’s cozy and comfortable enough to stay! Room size (just FYR): We left our 2 checked in luggage opened, there’s no extra space to walk

Good area if you want something with a some nice shopping streets and restaurants but also not the chaos of shibuya/shinjuku area. Close to the station and good spot for first timers in Tokyo

I originally booked another hotel, but for some reason, it didn't work out, so I booked this one last minute. At first, I found it hard to accept, but after spending three nights in Tokyo, I did find some advantages to the hotel: the location is pretty good, quite central, and you don't need to change lines to get to places like Ginza. It's less than a three-minute walk from the subway station, and there are some good restaurants downstairs, plus a TV station and a Harry Potter specialty store nearby. Since I wasn't really at the hotel during the day, this place offered good value for money. Of course, it's fine for sleeping at night if you're too tired from sightseeing. If you're looking for a good price and location, I can still recommend it – just be aware that the room is extremely small.

Good hotel in a great location near 2 metro stations. It is convenient to live there if you want to travel in different parts of the city. The room is a little bit old with scratches and dirt on the walls. The staff doesn't know English good and I need to use translator sometimes. Everyday we had a room cleaning and it was good, however cleaning people didn't put tea bags and I needed to come to reception to ask for tea bags. The view from window was nice and it was on city street

Rooms in Tokyo are generally small, but this one has everything you need. It's incredibly convenient for transportation, making it easy to get to Ginza and Shinjuku, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The front desk has a translation device, so communication was seamless. There's also a free coffee machine in the lobby. Overall, a pretty good choice!

Great hotel. Located close to the metro, which makes traveling around the city much more convenient.

Great little comfy hotel, heaps of restraints around for food and a 7- Eleven close by.

Located in a quiet area that's well-connected by three metro lines, 20-25 minutes to get to most touristy spots. The interior and room coziness was better than expected from the pictures. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend for solo travellers and for those looking for less busy areas.

Nice little hotel. A little on the tight side but nevertheless comfortable. Bathroom a highlight with an excellent shower. Staff always very helpful and polite.

A good location. 5 stops on one metro like from Tokyo Station and staying on Akasaka gives access to several different lines. Travelling round the city is easy. Hotel is within a short walk of Akasaka Mitsuke station - take exit 10. Check in was friendly, smooth and efficient. The room is fairly small at 16sqm but it's very efficiently laid out. There's a good shower with lots of hot water and pyjamas are provided. Housekeeping is done daily. The decor is quite dark so be aware of that. For me, the hotel was perfectly good and I'd happily stay there again

Very clean and convenient location

Could not get two door cards when we arrived only one per room was their rule. I went out alone and when I came back they very reluctantly gave me a second card Room very small with comfortable beds but only enough space for two carry-on bags with two suitcases and two carry-on bags it was a bit of a jam. Poor signage. The name of the hotel was high on a post that looked like a road name sign. You could walk past it and not even notice the name. Very easy to get lost.in the streets in Akasaka .
