It's a little far from the station, but there are many convenience stores and reasonable supermarkets nearby, and there are many restaurants, so it's convenient for shopping and dining.
There is no elevator, but the staff kindly carried our luggage up the stairs.

交通非常方便，認識路的情況下快步走七八分鐘能到池袋西口（北），慢慢走也就十來分鐘。這家酒店不算大，入口也較不起眼，但不僅周邊方便，也因為稍微避開了池袋站旁邊的熱鬧、可以説鬧中取靜。內部非常乾淨，工作人員（房東？）也非常熱情，同時沒有很多在東京的日本人對外國人會有的那種淡淡的敷衍。這家店很有人氣，抵達當天想再續住一晚就已經沒房了。這次的房間在走廊盡頭，有兩個窗，很喜歡。

Excellent service from the host; really feels like coming home every day. My room was pretty spacious considering Japanese standards. The decor of the room was a little worn, but the bathroom looked recently renovated. Room facilities were good, and the internet-connection worked as expected. There are countless dining options in Ikebukuro, and Ikebukuro station is extremely well connected.

Nice location being right next to some groceries/combinis and only a short walk to the main station and shopping areas. Room was clean and had everything I needed for a cheap price. No complaints :)
