It's a wonderful, classical hotel with a great atmosphere that makes you want to tell someone about your stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable for the city center. When I was carrying a shopping bag on the way home, I immediately prepared a paper bag. The kindness of the staff was amazing. We had Japanese food for breakfast. It was delicious. It's a pity that it was a room meal in Corona. Was there something wrong with the lack of a receipt from the hotel when I checked out? There was no addition, and I'm in a hurry, so I'm sorry I didn't tell you right away. I noticed it later.

The hotel is fantastic, it's in great condition considering it's age. The staff are more attentive than at most of the 5 star hotels I've stayed at and the food options on site are exceptional. Especially the small bar. The rooms are a little dated but it's more like being in a movie set during the showa period than run down everything has been kept up well.
While it's in essentially the inner core of Tokyo its in a quiet location,you don't have endless bar and restaurant choices in the neighbourhood but you can get to places like kanda station in a 10 minute walk and it's only a 5 minute walk to the chuo line which is incredibly useful.
I think the Hilltop is actually quite special.

Stayed in a traditional room and it was a great experience with enough space. Breakfast was excellent both when provided by room service or in the breakfast rooms. The three restaurant had excellent food.

一歩足を踏み入れると静謐な空間が保たれています。 チェックインカウンターでは、さりげなくお茶とお絞りが出され好感が持てます。 清掃が行き届き、ベッドメイクもきちんとしています。スタッフさんもすぐ問い合わせや相談に乗ってくださいました。信頼や期待に応えるおもてなしだと感じました。 場所柄おちついた利用客が多く、安心です。 レストランでは伝統のメニューが並び、どれも期待を裏切らないお料理で、おいしくいただきました。 文化の一翼を担った老舗の伝統ホテルが名残惜しいです。

日本が誇る文豪の愛したホテルです。クラッシックな建物とスタッフの方々のアットホームでありながら細かな気配りに、リラックスして宿泊する事が出来ます。ただ、施設は清潔に整えられているとは言え、やはり古い。空調も全館まとめてなので、各部屋での調整はできません。シティホテルに泊まり慣れた方には少し不満が残るかもしれません。朝・夕食込みのプランで予約。夕食はフレンチレストラン ラヴィ、朝食はインルームで和食を選択しました。夕食のフレンチ（コース）のお料理は、どれもとても美しく美味しい。特に、ダブルコンソメスープは絶品でした。朝食は品数が豊富で懐石料理の様に少しずつ色々な物が楽しめます。こちらもとても美味しかったです。
